We booked so we could catch the Bali ferry and the hotel was close to the harbour.

NetherlandsUnfortunately this place is not what it used to be. The place is a little neglected and not what it lookes like in the pictures. We wanted to cool of in the pool. It was not clean and my husband and my daughter turned yellow, skin and swimsuit. It barely came off after a shower.
We came here for the location (very close to boat for Bali) and the swimmingpool.

CanadaThe bathroom could use an upgrade as it felt quite old compared to the rest of the room. Mosquitos were able to get into the room despite nothing being open although I never got any bites.
The staff was friendly and helped us book a tour for Ijen. The breakfast buffet was good and filling and they have room service for a reasonable price that was delicious. The rooms was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Plus the location is close to the ferry to Bali and the Ketapang train station

PolandDirty room, we found some old flip flops and tones of dust under the bed. When I asked to clean it staff came immediatelly but did not do anything about this...Old flip flops were left there. Also there were stains on bedsheet, staff changed in on my request. Bathroom looked like noone has clean it for weeks, like in whole Java...
Very nice pool with clear water. We spent 3 days in the hotel and each time we went to the pool there were noone using it except us :D The pool was actually the only one nice thing there, but still not bad place for this price. Looks like hotel used to be a nice one long time ago.

A nice accommodation for our overnight stay before catching ferry to Bali. The breakfast started pretty early at (slightly before) 6am, which we really appreciated. Since there seemed to be only few people staying at the time, we had a la carte & it was actually pretty decent. We didn't get a chance to see much of the place like the pool, but in overall it was clean & while the buildings were old, but pretty well-maintained. The highlight would definitely the distance to the port, which took <5mins drive. Not sure for longer stay, but definitely recommended for an overnight!

GermanyMy stay at the Votel was extremely disappointing. 1. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was unacceptable. Dust was visibly accumulated, the wallpaper was torn, and several tiles were broken. The overall state of the room was neglected and uninviting. 2. Bathroom Condition: The bathroom was in appalling condition. Cigarette butts were found on the windowsill, and the toilet pipe was leaking, causing an unbearable stench. The fixtures were heavily calcified, making it impossible to use the facilities, including the shower. 3. Bed and Bedding: The mattress was severely worn out, resulting in an extremely uncomfortable sleeping experience. Additionally, the bedspread had visible lipstick stains, which, regardless of being washed, should not have been in use. 4. Other Issues: The room was infested with mosquitoes, further adding to the discomfort and making the stay even more unpleasant. Conclusion: For any price, staying in such a poorly maintained room is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
The Location Close to the Ferry is the only good thing about the hotel.

BelgiumA lot. First, although there were not many guests, we got one of the (presumably) worst rooms. It was not clean, windows with holes in it and at least 10 mosquitoes flying around because of that, sheets had some stains and an overall lack of cleanliness and cosiness. It was just bad. We asked for an upgrade which was definitely better but still the little things were missing. No soap, no small towels, nowhere to hang your towel, shower with not enough pressure etc. Like they don’t know “how to hotel”.
The well maintained garden and plenty of choice during breakfast.

GreeceVery high the hooks on the bathroom door. There are no hooks in the sink area. Οnly a single towel for each person. In the bathroom there is only a shower no faucet or headset. There is no way to spread and dry the swimsuit or a towel.
Large space, good bed, good lighting, terrace in front with seats, nice pool and surroundings. Good breakfast but not for Westerners. Nice the hall of food.
