The owner was the most friendly and helpful of anywhere we have stayed. So warm and welcoming and accommodating, she was so lovely and we would love to stay again. The view and garden was stunning and I really loved the beautiful cedar tree outside the place is so well maintained and I wish we could have stayed even longer was sad to leave. Lovely bedroom with a stunning view what more can we say.

Noreen the host was exceptional with nothing too much trouble. The view, WOW, what an incredible position overlooking the water. Very peaceful location and easy to get into Donegal by car. Great continental breakfast with range of choices

There is nothing I could think of!!

Arches Country House is a perfect place to relax. We enjoyed a comfortable accomodation and a lush breakfast. We had a room with a lovely view on the lake and the surrouding woods. It was very quiet and the furnishing of the spacious room was luxurious. We went on hiking trails nearby and took lovely trips to the cliffs and the shore. Noreen provided us with a perfekt breakfast and she gave us useful tips for our trip. We highly recommend Arches Country House. We would have loved to stay longer! Thank you Noreen!!

Noreen was an excellent host, very welcoming and friendly. The setting was idyllic with a view from our room over Lough Eske. We were a short drive from Biddy O'Barnes, where we had a lovely evening meal on Noreens' recommendation. On arrival, we were given a menu to choose our breakfast option. Full Irish was chosen by us both, and it didn't disappoint. Set us up for a full day of exploring and driving. Would definitely stay again. The room was lovely with all the amenities you would expect, kettle, hairdryer, and TV.

The property exceed all our expectations. The room was comfy, clean and with a marvellous view. The walking shower and the very well kept garden were a plus. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The hostess Noreen was brilliant and made us feel like we were at home. We had a fantastic relaxing time and would definitely recommend it!

This is a brilliant spot! Just a few minutes from Donegal town but seems like you're in the lovely Donegal countryside! Perfect! The B and B is a gorgeous modern (but not cold or clinical) house with large bedrooms with en-suites. The room was in perfect condition with absolutely spotless carpet and bedding etc. the bathroom had a large shower with hot water a plenty! The large bedroom had a bay window with two matching cool armchairs looking out and all the way down to Loch Eske. I was welcomed by Noreen who has run the place for over 30 years and she is a seasoned professional! Her welcome was warm and friendly and she got me settled into my room in minutes. I always struggle to sleep when away from home and I got a full night sleep in the very comfy bed. Woke refreshed and then enjoyed a freshly made full Irish. Noreen didn't have much to wash up after me! Delicious! I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. I will definitely be back when next in the area. Just as a final note the tv had many channels and the WiFi worked perfectly which I needed for work. The Arches- what a find!!!
