Wifi has absolutely awful. You can also hear the doorbell go off every minute from your room. Should have security lockers free of charge.

Clean. Kitchen was nice. Enjoyed the ensuite bathroom.

Creaky bunk, felt like I was disturbing others every time I rolled over. Wallpaper coming off wall (maybe ripped by a previous occupant?), could do with replacing.

Warm welcome, friendly staff, spacious, clean, comfortable. Had a 4 bed female dorm on the top floor, lovely room mates, good facilities. Would be happy to stay again.

Ashfield Hostel is great for the location. Close to O’Connell street , Trinity College, Grafton street and Temple bar area. Friendly staff and the cages under the bed for security that you will need a padlock for. Comfortable for a few days stay.

Rooms are crammed with bunks, as all big city hostels are. But everything else makes up for it. Check in security crosses the line with civil liberties. Maybe chill out with taking photos without asking, you already took a scan of my passport and a copy of my bank card. Pretty sure it’s all in breach of GDPR and possibly illegal. I’ve noted Dublin hostels are full with IPA guests, but if you don’t want IPA people staying, just tell them the truth that you’re a tourist/backpackers hostel for tourists/backpackers/weekenders. Simple.

Like its sister hostel Abigails, Ashfield is a really, really, really good backpackers. Staff here are great. Excellent door security and for a hostel so big, it was super clean. New kitchen facilities.

A very good option to stay if you want to be near the main atractions, the Trinity College, Temple Bar, busses to Moher or the aiport. The personal always super friendly. Second time I stay there and I will repeat if I ever go back.

All was good. It is not modern, but for a couple of nights stay it is perfect. I just slept in my room, took a shower and the rest of the time I spent in the city. I didn’t use the kitchen, so I can not say anything about that. You need a lock to be able to safe your belongings safely under the bed. They can be also bought in the reception area. Lockers are available for a great price.

The location is perfect. I could walk to almost everywhere by foot. The neighborhood had a vivid nightlife as well, which I liked and I still felt safe. Dublin express stops also 2 minutes walk from the hostel.

    - Shower space: Showers are somewhat cramped and it’s challenging to close the doors. - Lack of intimacy: Adding a curtain to the bed could enhance privacy and comfort.

    - Localisation: Extremely central; everything is within walking distance. For example, you'll reach the whiskey museum, Trinity College, and Temple Bar in less than a 5-minute walk. - Staff members: The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with efficient responses to your queries. - Kitchen: Well-organized and tidy with a plethora of equipment available. - Cleanliness: Common areas are consistently well-maintained. Rooms and bathrooms are regularly cleaned.
