Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe room had an old style lock, which did not feel safe for me leaving my stuff there, the matress on the bed seemed to be slipping onto the floor everytime I moved on it, everything on the bed seemed quite old and a bit smelly and the towels were horrible.
Pretty close to city center, nice area, grocerie stores and nice restaurants in the nearby area.

SpainThe remote control for the television didn't work probably just needed new batteries but I liked the accommodation but above the location and the bus stop outside was great as I'm 68 years old and I made good use of my travel pass as I'm Irish
Location was excellent I grew up in drumcondra so I was able to see old friends in the goose tavern off Griffith avenue so living in Spain for the last 18 years I could meet up with old friends.so your location .made the difference location is everything

United KingdomNo formal check in process as far as we could tell. We were greeted by a cleaner who, whilst friendly and polite, spoke very little English and didn't seem equipped to deal with check in. The room wasn't cleaned daily (despite the high price) and there was no breakfast despite being listed as b&b. Although the room was clean and a good size it was very basic and not at all good value for money. It was very expensive for what it was (although we did visit on St Patrick's weekend).
Right next to the bus stop with regular buses into the centre of Dublin. Our room with large and clean with an ensuite and comfortable bed. A good night's sleep. Kettle and tea/coffee in room. Small garden leading off of room. Private parking available for 3 cars.

LatviaThe heating was super inconsistent, no heating all day and then just a little in the evening. I spent a whole day at the hotel because of depression and stress, and I could hardly move outside of my bed because everything was cold - my clothes, all the furniture, the floors and walls. There's wind coming from the window, I blocked it with the curtain and two pillows, but it didn't help. This heating problem ruined the whole stay for me. And the TV was broken, physically broken. Couldn't even turn it on. And I had no help pulling two heavy suitcases upstairs, the staff I only met once and it was accidentally.
I liked the location - 15-20min by bus to Dublin centre, and there's lots of necessity places like Lidl, Tesco, coffee shops, restaurants, a pharmacy just a few minute walk from the guest house. Wifi worked great, the bathroom was perfect for me (one person), bedding was super warm and soft, the kettle worked well, and there was a little room for storing my clothes. Also the little desk and chair came in handy for eating or computer work. Key worked fine :)

United Kingdomthe checkin person was a bit rushed off his feet and only quickly advised me of things, bit disappointing. Also, the beds in the room are very low down to the ground and very worn mattresses, could do with a refurbishment.
it’s on the main road from Drumcondra so if you need that part of town it’s great.
