Couldn't fault the facilities at all, but not close to the Town Centre, as you would expect for an Estate like this.

We had hoped for a room in the Castle itself, so we were initially disappointed when told we were in the Guest House/Gatekeeper Cottage at the entrance to the Estate. Until we opened our Room door that is. Amazing room with lots of space, a clawfoot bath and a separate seating/office area. Plus a 4 poster bed made it even better. Very comfortable and a lovely stroll up to the Castle for Dinner. Packed up in the morning then drove up for breakfast. Loved the fact that the Irish Wolfhound (pictured) was immortalised in the stained glass in the Dining Room.

Ballyseede Castle is fascinating ! Not only is it a beautiful “ old worldly “ hotel but it’s very much like staying at “ your favorite relative’s home “ where you’re treated like family, the dogs roam freely and are so loving and you immediately feel at ease. I travel solo and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ballyseede. It was truly one of the highlights of my trip in Ireland.

We loved everything about the property!

The castle, the dining room and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Our favorite part of the castle was Molly the Irish Wolfhound who greeted us daily from her sofa. I wish we could have stayed another day. Our dinner was delicious and was served in what I felt like was such a historic room. Our servers couldn’t have been more gracious and kind.

Absolutely nothing.

Unbelievable standard of accommodation. Bridal suite had plenty of space and was amazing. Bed was very comfortable and great shower. Bath was a winner out in the main room. Staff were amazing from check in to the bar, dinner and breakfast. The grounds were stunning and the local dogs a welcome addition.

Continental breakfast was wonderful. Hot breakfast was OK- pancakes were very chewy.

Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Service was friendly. They accommodated our request for a double twin room without a problem. Large bath tubs were relaxing. The dogs were lovely.

We came here to spend a quality family time and celebrate birthday. The atmosphere of the place is wonderful. Territory of the castle is well maintained and inside decoration are great as well. Service at the reception and in the restaurant were good. Sufficiently attentive staff created the right atmosphere of the place.

We loved the charming feel of the property. Everything was perfectly decorated and fit with the feel of three castle. The staff was lovely and we especially enjoyed the dogs on the property. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the castle and enjoyed the breakfast as well. All of the food and drinks were wonderful.

Loved the property! Everything was beautiful. Our only issue was getting hot water for a bath in the beautiful tub but the staff was very responsive.

We were treated like royalty. The pub was fun and our bartender was fun to talk with. Did and chips were also very good.
