Not really a castle, more of a manor house. Noise from the corridors extremely loud and there were children running up and down the corridors screaming until late at night and early the next morning making getting sleep quite difficult.

Novelty of staying in a Manor House, nice room, and walks on the ground. Beautiful bar room decorated in eighteenth century style.

You didn't have any souvenirs, previous Castles we have stayed in have Castle bears and little pieces like that.

We had an amazing Castle Tour with Carol, very informative and fun, I would highly recommend as Carol was passionate about the local History. All the staff were great, very friendly and helpful, we had 3 rooms each was great with lovely views of the grounds. We also had the best dinner in the Library Restuarnt, again would fully recommend.

I stay in many castle hotels through Ireland. Bellleek Castle ranks amongst the top. Having only 10 bedrooms and no modern annex add ons you feel more like a family member than a hotel guest. The staff were so pleasant and couldn’t be more helpful

The shower in the room was sub-standard and had no pressure at all. The bedroom was a little drafty, but it is an old property. The TV in the room was tiny for the room size and in a bad location.

Excellent food at dinner & breakfast. Lovely medieval style bar. very reasonable drinks prices. Room was very spacious. Location is only a 2 min drive from Ballina.

The lack of channels on tv and it was lost in the room. The positioning of the tv wasn’t great you couldn’t see the full screen when in bed as the four poster bed timber frame was blocking view .

Love the setting and interior The tour of the castle was excellent we really enjoyed it

Just a little tired in places, in some ways added to the character of the castle but I think a little TLC would be good for the place.

A really cool venue, food was superb and staff were excellent it was a real hidden gem.

The cleaning needs to improve , especially in the bathroom… the dinner was lovely, the main( fish) came first , but the potatoes came only after 20 min😞… the full Irish breakfast was nice, but served only with the white toast… and i got my cup of americano already made with milk😳, and the cup is really tiny… Small details that needs to be improved

The location is great , the castle is beautiful, really authentic and stunning inside!! The bar is amazing, and the guy who was working on Saturday was very kind and friendly!!

The fan in the shower didn’t work but other than that, nothing

The decor really enhanced the experience of the castle, the beds were comfortable, the food in the restaurant was incredible and the bar had a good vibe to it. Beautiful grounds and we liked the fact that the hotel wasn’t enormous (only 10 rooms). Staff were also accommodating

We stayed at Belleek Castle for our minimoon and it was more than a weekend away it was an experience. From the moment we drove up and stepped into the castle it was like stepping back in time. The family have done an amazing job at keeping the original character of the building while still having all the luxuries you could need. The room was amazing I felt like I was in and episode of Downton Abbey. The staff can't do enough for you and you can tell they really care and love working at Belleek. The food was out of this world the steak on a sword was the nicest steak I've ever had. They also had a Cabaret show on which was amazing. This really is a hidden gem. We cannot wait to visit again
