The resort's huge and you can find lots of activities to do there. Staff was also amazing and made us felt very welcome. Room was also very spacious and although it is an old hotel, it still felt fresh.

We wished we had stayed longer. The only thing we disliked was that the smart tv couldn’t mirror from our smart phones to watch Netflix or YouTube. Regardless we enjoyed the stay and did not both us that much.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The facilities were just perfect for us. We enjoyed the Knights Bar for some mind blowing cocktails and also afternoon lunch at the clubhouse with an astonishing view of the golf course and sunset. The dinner at the canopy restaurant was 5 star. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable.

It would be good to have some sort of tipping facility for the concierge staff as nowadays most people do not carry cash.

The customer service was excellent from the time we arrived until the time we left. We had dinner in the Canopy room and that was very enjoyable and again the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We used the spa and gym facilities they were excellent. I had a treatment (back massage) best one I had in a long time.

Shower had not been cleaned, hairs all over the wall. Lounge in room didn't have TV so had to sit on bed to watch TV which was too far away/too small. Pool could do with a clean/spruce up. We got our room on special offer which we were happy to pay, would not have been happy to pay full price as it was lacking a 'wow' factor for a 5*.

Beautiful room, staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool nice and quiet during adult only hours. Grounds were immaculate. Food really good.

We did feel that in comparison to every other staff member the man in the Hunted Hog, who could be the manager was unfriendly to us both times we went in, we actually left without staying the second time after he was rude to us. It’s a shame that the stellar customer service & friendliness of the staff in the resort is not reflected there, although all the other staff members there were lovely. It doesn’t hurt to be nice, even if busy and if they prefer the locals there then maybe they should separate themselves from the resort or else treat everyone equally as paying customers.

Everything was great, the room was huge with separate dressing room, terrace and huge bathroom. The hotel felt quiet even though it was busy which is a testament to its layout and having plenty of dining & lounge areas. We ate in the Hunted Hog which was typical but good bar food and in the Canopy restaurant which was delicious. For lunch we ate in the hotel bar and again the food was great. We didn’t use the spa but used the leisure facilities, they are a bit smaller so you wouldn’t spend much time there. Lovely grounds for walks or a bike ride.

No USB socket in the room. Steam room needs to be upgraded asap. Sauna needs proper clean as smell was not good. Jacuzzi is too small.
