Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Extremely loud at night. People banging on doors till 4am and very close to Temple Bar so loud music.
Good location as easily accessible. Breakfast was good.

Well, I guess it could be cheaper🤔 Prob could do with more space to hang clothes
Loved the room, 306, view of Temple Bar and the river. Noisy but that is on website and we out late anyway. All those we met at reception were lovely. Friendly and very helpful. Ideal location

The woman on the front desk was rude to us and other guests that came in. Checking in was later as the people who stayed before us left later so we had to wait around

No water for shower Sunday morning or freezing cold. Room 306 Saturdays shower was great We had friends stay in 305 and there's where fine. Breakfast was nice but parts cold we still ate it...

The heating was on full blast and couldn't be turned off, oh my word for a lady of a certain age that was not good and they didn't have any fans 🥵. We had to open the windows which were directly over the busy street so now we had all the music and people noise too. We dont mind the noise so much as were very heavy sleepers but this is not a place for light sleepers!!
The hotel is right on the river and central to everything. Nice big bathroom, comfy beds, very clean. Breakfast was lovely and served till 11am. The bathroom (apart from the 90 degrees heat) was lovely, really nice walk in shower and plenty of towels to use. There was a great hairdryer provided and tea / coffee facilities.

It is a little loud due to its location. But it’s fine once you have had a few drinks!

The noise level from the bar which was directly below our room was absolutely horrendous - it does warn you it can get loud, but it is VERYYYY loud and the thumping does shake the room (at least the room we were in which was 103). It didn’t stop until about 4am so be prepared to stay up late or not sleep at all.
Clean, fresh rooms. Staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough to help us during our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, practically a two minute walk from everywhere. They took a €100 deposit on a credit card from us to secure the room for any damage but upon check out it is refunded if there is no damage.

There was just alot of scrapes on the walls in the room that had been plastered but not painted which looked horrible! Totally not enough towels, we stayed more then 1 night and no one made the beds or refreshed the room.
Location was great, they held our baggage before our room was ready which was great, staff seemed fine, nothing exceptional

Not value for money. You really are just paying for the location. The room and facilities are not worth the price so based on that I wouldn’t stay again and would look for somewhere cheaper (however this isn’t the hotel, but this area in general. It is very expensive all round!)
Location is great if you’re around temple bar and want a short crawl home at the end of the night. However if you’re just after Dublin, would recommend staying out of temple bar and avoiding the high cost and getting the hop off buses. Staff were incredible, couldn’t do enough for us. Really friendly and polite - this includes the receptionists, cleaners, security and all the staff in the bar attached.

Unfortunately in the room we got had extremely bad mould in the bathroom, I did mention this to reception is it was possible to swap rooms as my partner as asthma but got told they had no spare rooms. Unfortunately the doors from hallway into room didn’t stop any noise or banging of other doors from other guests.
The location of this hotel is great if you are visiting dublins famous ‘temple bar’ area. Walking distance to most places. The staff were lovely and pleasant, were as helpful as they could be. The bar downstairs is great and good selection of live music every night!
