The only negative was the towels were not white and fluffy- I think they were air/line dried so stiff and a bit grey.

As a B&B it was a gem of a find in a good location. Friendly hosts, room and bathroom spacious, great breakfast. Close to Killarney so plenty of restaurants nearby without the headache of being in the town center with traffic delays. As with some other B&Bs, no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but these were always available at no charge in the common area lounge, along with a bar fridge with wine, beer & spirits (honesty bar)

Although there weren't tea or coffee facilities in the bedroom, there was plenty on offer in the lounge at all hours and when we raised the question of why wasn't there any in the room, an arrangement was made for a tray of tea to be brought up in the early morning. This was appreciated as I was on the second floor, two flights of stairs away from the lounge. The honesty bar was appreciated and very well stocked.

The hosts, Conor and Briget, are warm and welcoming. They pay close attention to details to the benefit of their guests. Breakfasts were a standout.

Our stay at Gleann Fia is a highlight of our visit to Ireland. Connor and Bridget have created a warm, welcoming, happy and relaxed environment. The rooms are filled with light. The breakfast an absolute delight with locally sourced produce. Connor was a great help in planning days out. I highly recommend.

A top sheet on the bed would be more comfortable. We are not used to heavy comforters except in winter.

Connor and Bridget are phenomenal hosts! The location is within walking distance to the town center (there is no shortage of cabs), but it is tucked away in a pocket of green! Relax and listen to the calming sound of the stream rolling mining alongside the house. Let out for deer peeking g through the trees!

Everything was excellent.

The breakfast was excellent. Bridget makes the yogurt and breads herself. Whatever she doesn't make- she sources locally. The hosts were informative about the area and offered great itinerary suggestions. Rooms were comfortable. Very quiet location.

Located in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees and next to a little creek, Gleann Fia is a very comfortable and relaxing base from which to explore Kerry. The hosts are lovely and very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast is fantastic, with very high quality products and excellent service. We are glad we chose Gleann Fia and warmly recommend booking here!

Lovely stay here! Just a 5-minute drive from Killarney city, yet so peaceful with the river right beside. The place was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious with locally sourced ingredients. Perfect mix of comfort and quiet.

It was amazing. Friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful atmosphere, very well decorated. Very comfortable beds and pillows with silky linens. I slept very well. Usually the pillows are not comfortable in hotels, but here it was like home. Nice bathroom that had underfloor heating. Excellent breakfast with a view of garden. The location was quiet. Very cosy and clean rooms. Wonderfulll. Highly recommended this place. If I ever go back to Ireland, I'll come here again.

Quiet location outside the city but not too far. About a 3 minute ride into town. Best of both worlds. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Home cooked to order. Bar is Honor system with an abundant selection of Irish Whiskeys, wine, gin, beer and more. Conner and his wife are clearly well ahead of their peers in their he hospitality business. They have truly perfected the business.

I can't speak more highly of Gleann Fia. Bridget and Conor were so attentive and helpful. The country house and it's surroundings are beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful. I'm only sorry I couldn't stay longer.

Roof beam through centre of the room! For 6 footer it was tricky to negotiate. But I booked v late, was last room available!

Lovely old manor c.1mile from town. Well developed, big lounge area with honour bar and 'picture' windows. Breakfast excellent. Room small, walk in shower vg, bed comfy.
