Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOpen shower, the floor had a slight slope so the water wanted to run towards the door. Felt the need to squeegee the water back toward the drain to help the floor dry out after showers.
The hospitality is unmatched! Conor was beyond helpful, helping us plan our stay and giving us tips for places to eat, stops to make, and things not to miss. Property is close to town but in a quiet little hamlet, with the river rushing outside of our window, and the birds chirping in the morning. Clean facilities, great breakfast, comfortable spots to relax, close to town, and endless things to do! Delightful place to stay.

United States of AmericaI absolutely loved my stay so it’s hard to say anything negative but if you’re also a car-free traveler, just please note that the walk from town will take you about 25 minutes and a small section is along the side of the road without a walkway or lights. There’s no bus service and a taxi ride from town will cost you about 10 euros. By no means let this keep you from staying at this sweet gem! If you enjoy a pint or two at one of the wonderful Killarney pubs, ( I highly recommend Courtney’s) you shouldn’t be driving anyway! :)
The hosts make this sweet place absolutely shine! Genuine, kind and ready to do all they can to help their guests enjoy their stay and visit to Killarney. My room was lovely with high quality linens and a cozy authentic Killarney wool blanket. Falling asleep (and waking up) to the patter of rain was so peaceful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, homemade jams, bread and yogurt. I had a full Irish that kept me fueled all day! The house is so welcoming and tastefully decorated with lounge areas and a self serve bar. The setting is rural, quiet and green along a pretty river. It would be amazing in the summer sunshine. I completely enjoyed my stay and sincerely thank Brigid and Conner for their exceptional service and warm hospitality!

United States of AmericaWe wished we could have walked more easily into town -- it wasn't too far but the section of road by the property was narrow-shouldered and dark at night (But in exchange, we got great serenity at the property, and with a car it was super easy). (But if you didn't have a car, it could be a challenge).
Breakfast was awesome, room and whole property were very classy, hosts were knowledgeable and so friendly. This stay exceeded our expectations and felt like such a treat!

United KingdomWould be nice to have tea facilities in the rooms as well as downstairs in the lounge.
This is a delightful property in a scenic location with the most gracious hosts. Straight away there is a sense of peace and tranquility, with the house nestled into the surrounding trees and the relaxing sounds of the large stream running through the grounds. Yet still having easy access to Killarney Town with its energetic vibe and plethora of.pubs and restaurants.. Gleann Fia is homely whilst being spacious and spotlessly clean. We were treated to a Delicious cooked.breakfast. and a great selection of fruit, yogurt and homemade granola. We had such a lovely chat with Bridget on the morning of.checkout, About our stay. We went out to party n Killarney Town for St Patrick's Day and found a taxi with ease to get us back safely in the wee hours. Visiting Dingle.for the parade was a highlight, I'd recommend a visit to the 15th century church in Dingle. To The famous South Pole Inn of Annascaul for.a late lunch which was reasonably priced and.quite tasty. A visit to Muckross Abbey ended our trip with a pleasant stroll and chance to.explore the well-preserved ruins.of the Abbey and its graveyard. I sincerely hope.to get a chance to visit again soon!
