I had a bottom bunk this time, and it was very good. The bottom bunk is much easier to get in and out of, than the top bunk. I stayed in a top bunk before. The bottom bunk is much better

Could use an update in the pods - allow for a plug for phones or at least upgrade the USB to accommodate modern chargers.

Friendly place, nice staff and clean. Great location, close to city centre. Tram stop right outside as well!

I wasn't sure where else the bathrooms or showers for women were... In case someone else was using the bathroom in our room, which is very obviously going to happen as we share the room with plenty of people. I found the mens bathroom on the same floor, but there was no signs where other bathrooms could be. There were very little signs in the hostel to show where other bathrooms or facilities might be. You only found them on the first floor. The location of the hostel was not the greatest as it was in a side street where I didn't feel so safe to walk into.

The room itself was very clean (even though I think I was lucky with the cleanness), and you each got individual pods with good lightning and a curtain for your own privacy. In your pod you had plenty of space to put your own stuff and charge your own stuff. We even had our own bathroom which was very clean and nice as well. The room was big and spacious and plenty of room for the lockers.

Loud people at the weekend around the hostel in side streets, toilets downstairs in lobby could have been cleaner

Close to all sights and airport bus stop, USB charger in bed, tall lockers, modern rooms, feeling of security due to doors, great that one could bring and eat own food in lobby

There was a member of the staff that deliberately kept changing the codes anytime I am about to get into my room. I regretted my stay with them cos I was racially humilated by the attitude of this staff.. I should have sue them but kept my patience by not having anything to do with them ever.

THE CLEANLINESS, THE PLACE WAS GOOD SPOT FOR MONEY.

Bathroom was not the cleanest and also bad sound isolation (bathroom is inside the room).

Modern stylish hostel with comfy beds with privacy. The personnel were welcoming and nice. Location is great as well. They also have a nice cafe inside the hostel. Lots of space.

I was leaving at 8 am to go to an event and no breakfast available for me just cereal and toast or bit of fruit or even tea and toast would have been nice given it is a hostel where people stay for a quick over night between events ot trips

Nice clean place , comfortable bed , nice bar and near the centra not in a noisy spot but everything near by .

The location is near the main railway station, which can be a definite plus but also can attract questionable people. Not the fault of the hostel, it is always like that with stations. What is something not so thoughtful is the USB ports only in the pod, i.e., no normal electric sockets. Nowadays more and more people have type-c or other cables so to limit options like that is very inconvenient. I was not able to charge my phone, for example.

Great-great showers and bathrooms! Isolated pod-beds give a sense of personal space and simply look good. Everything is tidy and new. Very easy check-in and check-out.

Can get loud in the corridors at night as is the case with many hostels. Pricy for a hostel but probably you can’t get a better place for this value in Dublin

There are no cleaning items such as a squeegee, for example for cleaning the bathroom between one guest and another for communal rooms with suites.

Dublin is an expensive place for the solo traveller, so it isn't the hostel's fault, but it was really pricy

Staff and location were great. The room and bathroom, as well as storage facilities within the room were large enough. The pod itself has been good though out. Overall a pleasent stay

Everything was great.i was staying in room 308 but it became like a furnace that night.i couldn't breathe with the heat. When I opened the window I was hit with the really loud sound of the fan going off beside the window or could hear everything going on down below in the yard of the garda Station. I was exhausted the next day and I ruined the last day of my trip.other than that, the place was perfect

Value for money was okay, but quite a few things to keep in mind
    • Leisure trip
    • Solo traveler
    • Pod in a 8-bed Mixed Dormitory
    • Stayed 4 nights

Things to keep in mind: the pods DO NOT have an outlet available. The only ones are on the wall above the lockers, meaning that you can't charge your phone in bed. It does have a low power USB-A outlet but its hardly enough. There is also no common kitchen or fridge, which is something to keep in mind. The mattress is not overly comfortable either, fairly thing. Although close enough to the Temple Bar area, its still not a very centric area. Most things require buses or quite some walking to get to. After dark the area doesn't have a lot of movement and being next to a train station there are a few homeless roaming around. There isn't much food and the bar in the lobby closes fairly early, forcing the people there into the small shared area by reception.

The location is alright, its a 20 minute walk from the Temple Bar area. The beds are indeed pods as expected which is nice. The rooms are spacious and have big lockers where you can leave your stuff. The hostel is next to a police station so there are always cops around.
