Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsI wasn't sure where else the bathrooms or showers for women were... In case someone else was using the bathroom in our room, which is very obviously going to happen as we share the room with plenty of people. I found the mens bathroom on the same floor, but there was no signs where other bathrooms could be. There were very little signs in the hostel to show where other bathrooms or facilities might be. You only found them on the first floor. The location of the hostel was not the greatest as it was in a side street where I didn't feel so safe to walk into.
The room itself was very clean (even though I think I was lucky with the cleanness), and you each got individual pods with good lightning and a curtain for your own privacy. In your pod you had plenty of space to put your own stuff and charge your own stuff. We even had our own bathroom which was very clean and nice as well. The room was big and spacious and plenty of room for the lockers.

IrelandThere was a member of the staff that deliberately kept changing the codes anytime I am about to get into my room. I regretted my stay with them cos I was racially humilated by the attitude of this staff.. I should have sue them but kept my patience by not having anything to do with them ever.
THE CLEANLINESS, THE PLACE WAS GOOD SPOT FOR MONEY.

LithuaniaThe location is near the main railway station, which can be a definite plus but also can attract questionable people. Not the fault of the hostel, it is always like that with stations. What is something not so thoughtful is the USB ports only in the pod, i.e., no normal electric sockets. Nowadays more and more people have type-c or other cables so to limit options like that is very inconvenient. I was not able to charge my phone, for example.
Great-great showers and bathrooms! Isolated pod-beds give a sense of personal space and simply look good. Everything is tidy and new. Very easy check-in and check-out.

United States of AmericaThings to keep in mind: the pods DO NOT have an outlet available. The only ones are on the wall above the lockers, meaning that you can't charge your phone in bed. It does have a low power USB-A outlet but its hardly enough. There is also no common kitchen or fridge, which is something to keep in mind. The mattress is not overly comfortable either, fairly thing. Although close enough to the Temple Bar area, its still not a very centric area. Most things require buses or quite some walking to get to. After dark the area doesn't have a lot of movement and being next to a train station there are a few homeless roaming around. There isn't much food and the bar in the lobby closes fairly early, forcing the people there into the small shared area by reception.
The location is alright, its a 20 minute walk from the Temple Bar area. The beds are indeed pods as expected which is nice. The rooms are spacious and have big lockers where you can leave your stuff. The hostel is next to a police station so there are always cops around.
