What a wonderful stay we had here in Lative! The hosts were delighful and great to chat to (with wonderful handmade scones on arrival). We had everything we needed and was a very comfortable base from where to explore the region. Highly recommended.

Great peaceful rural location with gorgeous views! The lovely well appointed apartment had everything you need for a wonderful stay. Super comfy bed, great shower and plenty of towels. A few minutes to Portmagee, restaurants and pubs. Perfect base to explore the Kerry Cliffs, the Ring of Skellig and Valentia Island. Loved the peace and quiet and the sheep! Bridget and Jo are wonderful hosts who can’t do enough for you. We appreciated the yummy home made scones! Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful apartment connected to the main residence. It was spacious, peaceful and the home baked goodies were much appreciated upon our arrival. The lambs outside our window were a bonus!

Not much! A wee bit of road noise but also nothing at night. A soft mattress but we found it comfy.

Lovely wee place with a kitchen - oven, sink, all the utensils, small table and a microwave (you need to get it out the cupboard), also a couple of armchairs. Then a comfortable bedroom and a spacious bathroom with shower. Bridget and Jo the hosts were lovely! Dropped us to the local pub to save us walking which was very kind and welcomed as it’s was rainy and dark.

Excellent location. 10 minute walk takes you into the town of Portmagee. The hosts were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The living area was on the small size but the generous bathroom and bedroom made up for that. You were able to park right outside the accommodation in private grounds. It had outside seating with amazing views of the water and countryside.

The small apartment was bright and perfectly equipped with everything one might need. The hosts went out of their way (literally) to help us with lifts and orientation so that we could manage fine without a car. Thank you Joseph and Bridget!

Fabulous kitchenette well equipped with the basics including scones butter jam and milk. Also plenty of household basics such as tea, coffee etc all inclusive.

Kind and helpful hosts, excellent location if you plan to check the Skelligs or the Kerry Ring. Quiet, comfy beds, clean rooms and occasional friendly dog and cats. Definitely recommend, great price/value place. They were really responsive when we changed our checkin time on the day.

Really cannot complain. This property for our needs perfectly and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to book a Skellig Island tour.

Our host was absolutely lovely and did a wonderful job at getting us acquired with the property. The property itself was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was just a very short drive away from Portmagee and considering we were in town for a Skellig Island tour the following day, this was perfect to allow for us to get to the harbor early.

Perfect stay. Super clean, comfy bed, excellent location for our next day landing at Skellig Michael. Our hosts were friendly, and even provided a delicious chocolate pastry and scone. It was a wonderful stay !

As it was self catering we ate our usual food. Bridget is a natural hostess- we were made so welcome from the first moment. Ideal location to catch the boat out to Sceilg Michael.

Magnificent views and wonderful walks just down the road. The apartment had everything for a lovely stay, plenty of pots and very nice scones , with butter and jam left by the host, nice hot shower, comfy bed...pleasant and friendly hosts...perfect.
