The apartment was very clean and warm , the Host was very friendly and explained anything that needed explaining. The beds were really comfy, Netflix on the TV. Very pleasant stay 😊 The shop is literally 1 minutes walk away for any essentials forgotten. Pub next door , no noise issues at all and it was a Saturday night. Would stay here again 😊

So glad I got to put up a review. We were down for a family funeral. We travelled down from Doneval. Absolutely amazing facilities Matty so welcoming apartment spotless and perfect. Will recommend and stay again

the only thing i did not like was the location ..it was very noisey as it was beside a road and a main road , but i woupd still recommend it to someone who would like to go for a daytrip to Kilkenny .

There was nothing to dislike.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. We spent two days walking on the Barrow way. Matty, Michelle and the locals in the bar are friendly and welcoming. Matty was very helpful and accommodating with any requests. We wouln definitely recommend it and will return soon.

Matt was a superb host. Very friendly and accommodating. Everything we needed was here. Went into town to The Railway House for food - great and recommended by Matt. Loved the Jacuzzi. Netflix was bonus for the kids.

Everything was really great.. A Gorgeous Apt, we had a great sleep, very clean.. Matty the owner was real sound and nothing a bother. A Beautiful part of the Country.. We will come back all going g well.

Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and warm. The jacuzzi was great and the kids loved it. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout. Friendly atmosphere in the pub. Locals also very friendly and welcoming.

Steps up to the apartment very steep I've mobility problems but it's my own fault I should looked into better but for everyone else it was perfect. ... but if thete had been emergency I would been stuck there but as I said should looked into it better.

It was nice and clean and cosy when heat was on. Tv had netflix huge plus for me as rest of group were heading to a concert I was staying there 🙃

The owners and locals were very welcoming. We popped into the pub for a drink and stayed on for several hours. They were loads of fun. The warm jacuzzi was a real treat.

Warm, welcoming 😁 and friendly host. Matty has a wonderfully modest hidden gem 💎 Smiled the whole drive from Dublin to Carlow. Then to Royal Oaks..... Apartment was unreal, could've done any better, warm, clean, cozy and very quiet. Facilities are really great. TV has all the apps available so my son was on cloud 9. Hot tub was another high 5 as was Matty's Pub.... So cute with friendly customers. Can't wait to return.

Our door lock wasn’t functioning properly and we had to ask the bartender for assistance several times.

Only minor aspect - could have done with a shower curtain possibly so as didn’t leave bathroom wet after use.

Property had everything that we required - very extras left about kitchen and contained all the amenities if you wanted to self cater so a great extra.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, very comfortable beds, extremely clean and we had everything we needed there! Perfect for families and great location also . Hosts were very accommodating. Very reasonably priced too! Looking forward to our next stay
