Perefect area of Dublin and very nice, clean place to stay.

Not a complaint, but definitely not an American hotel room. Just need to set expectations. The shower was VERY small, but again, not so abnormal by European standards.

Personally, I like to be amongst locals when I'm visiting. Donnybrook is the perfect balance of being in the midst of local pubs and restaurants and being an easy walk/bus ride to City Centre and the Dart station. Morehampton Townhouse is an excellent place to stay in Donnybrook.

The building is a little antiquated but that actually adds to the charm.

    Clean warm room. Comfortable bedding.

Unfortunately, a nearby house alarm kept going off , which obviously wasn't the fault of the accommodation.

One physical key for the room. If someone needs to go out, another person needs to sit in the room to enable the first one in.

    All good.

There was little to criticise. The TV remote control would not work. The mattress may be a little soft for some and the position of the bathroom sink was rather low for tall users. Just one straightback chair in the bedroom but space is limited.

Twin Room. One night stay. The reception staff are most welcoming and helpful. The accomodation itself is clean, reasonably comfortable and warm. Modern ensuite bathroom with excellent shower. Noises from adjoining rooms are certainly amplified due to the construction and sheer age of the building but it is a quiet house overall. I had a good night's sleep..Nice, spacious breakfast room on the lower ground floor serving full Irish and Continental options. The meal itself was ok. Free car parking (limited spaces) available at the rear which is handy. Located in Dublin 4, not far from the city centre with all amenities nearby. Very good value for money overall considering this is Dublin City. €89 incl.breakfast.

The double bed was small and very soft - not my preference. But the room had a single bed in it too so I ended up sleeping in that which was a better option than sharing the small double bed. The traffic noise from the main road was slightly annoying and the room was very warm when we first arrived but opening the window to get a bit of air in wasn't really an option due to the traffic noise. We turned the radiator off but the room was still quite stuffy.

Full Irish breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly. Free parking useful.

I love this place to stay. Reasonable . Get straight there easily from the city centre . Value for your stay . The staff are wonderful . I was allocated a ground floor room on request. I was given a large empty shopping bag to help me on my way , which I badly needed, the last time , saving the repacking. I feel that every request is treated the same way with no fuss, by Morehampton House staff.

The only thing I didn't like was the chocolate they left out on the bed when I first arrived, but that type of thing isn't for everyone, so nothing bad to say. And also it's about a 40 minute bus ride to the city centre but you can't help that.

I did not opt in for the breakfast part but the bed was very comfortable, the cleanliness of the room was superb, as I did not use the shower, I cannot review that aspect but the bathroom was very clean and tidy.

    Nice hotel to stay

It was constant noise because of ventilation, I guess. The problem was that this ventilation worked 4 seconds and then switched of for 4 seconds and then worked again. This noise was crazy annoying, because it has never stopped during the night, so you have to use ear plugs or something to minimize it. Just because of that I won't come again, it was hard to fall asleep. But maybe it was only top floor rooms problem.

Small warm room with opportunity to adjust to your own temperature, great breakfast options - you can order from the kitchen, comfortable location - can reach many objects by feet. Very helpful and friendly staff ot the desk and in the kitchen.

Nothing really. The heating was great and the room was warmed quickly. The only advice I would give to the staff is to prepare the room to be warm by the time the guest arriving specially in winter as this will make a good impression from the start. I will still book this place again.

Staff are so lovely and helpful. Place is quiet and clean. I will definitely go there again when I visit Dublin.

I was initially booked into a single room with a lot of ambient noise from neighbours/traffic and without heating. The reception team were exceptional and helped move me into a quieter room, but I don’t recommend booking a single room. Not worth the price.

Pleasant and helpful staff, safe location, decent breakfast and some of the rooms are lovely.
