The Leisure Centre. Unfortunately this was a let down. The Leisure Centre is in need of upgrading. Changing rooms very small with no private cubicles to change in. Some of the locker doors did not work. Kids lessons on continuously so made it very hard to swim. Two lanes were roped off but lessons were also occurring in them as well. Jacuzzi out of order.

The room was nice, comfortable and clean. Lovely shower. Breakfast was good. Cereals, croissants, fruit and hot breakfast. Plenty of choice. Food in The Aaron Lounge (delicious pizza) and Frederick's Restaurant was good.

We didn't get fresh water in the room for the 2 more days we stayed. No fresh bathrobe left despite the one I hung up being taken. The leisure area is dated and in need of repairs, paint chipping off walls and bits of plastic lining pulling away. The treadmills are dated as well, difficult to change speed on screen. No workout mats in the gym for floor exercises. Despite what I paid, we got a room with no view so windows had been frosted to prevent looking out over the back of the property. The bathroom was a bit on the small side even though the room was large, nowhere to set wash bags.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Bar was comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Kathy on breakfast had been so welcoming and nothing was an issue, she helped me with a takeaway for breakfast as I had to leave for the day when breakfast was just open. We had dinner the first night in bar area which was extremely tasty.

We were so disappointed that main restaurant was closed and only option was bar food.

Breakfast was very good, the hotel was exceptionally busy and food was disappearing very quickly and staff were struggling to keep up with demand. Staff were extremely pleasant and assisted as best they could.

The rooms are very dated in terms of interior. I suppose this is the general theme throughout the hotel. Don’t expect a modern feel.

Wasn't really happy with quality of food, some members of our party suffered stomach upsets after dinner on the Saturday night.

Food in the restaurant was just about reasonable. I had a chowder which was frankly the worst I've ever had - low on fish content and high on chunky almost raw vegetable content. Breakfast was good. Facilities for feeding a large group of 17 were very good. Serving staff were very patient and very good. We were really pleased with the abundance of space available for a large group around the foyer and on the 1st floor.

The only disappointment which in no way diminished my satisfaction was the thermal suite - the sauna was not working, the steam room wasn’t warm enough for me so I spent my time in the hydra pool - i still enjoyed my thermal suite experience

This was a fab little break from the world , the staff especially Sandra at reception and Mary at breakfast were superb. The food in the restaurant was varied healthy and tasty. We went for a pre breakfast swim and the pool and jacuzzi was a lovely experience, I loved my hotel experience.

We got a surprise upgarde to an enormous suite!!! Dinner was superb and lovely cocktails late night resident's bar! Slept in for last breakfast but even this was no problem the lovely staff sorted us out! Thank you

The food we had was not nice at all. Chicken wings were dehydrated and very dry. Seafood chowder was ok but found a lot of bones in it. We where also woken up by a bunch of golfer’s roaring and shouting at 7.30 am and had to open the window to tell them to be quiet.

Without doubt the best thing about the hotel is the staff. Every single member of staff from reception to the restaurant staff and leisure centre staff where so helpful and friendly.
