Very comfortable, which is out of our expectations. It was Monday when we visited, pub was closed and the room is spacious and clean. Really enjoy staying

We were disappointed that there was no trad music at night but the locals were fun to talk to and the restaurant was popular, too.

This was a lovely old "Pub with Rooms" with the pub dating back to the 1850's. It was a traditional pub within walking distrance of Trinity College and the Temple Bar area. The pub seemed to be a very popular spot for young, professionals in the area and was quite busy into the evening. As with most old buildings, there was no air conditioning but fans were provided. The pub staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very easy to get into the lodgings and to check out. It was a lovely stasy.

Coffee and tea room was pretty sparse.

Great location for many attractions and access to DART train. Breakfast was not included (although it was listed as included when we booked the property). There was no change in the room rate even though the breakfast was deleted. We did eat at the Trinity Hotel and enjoyed it.

It's often confused with Oneills Pub. Make sure you map Oneills Victorian.

Centrally located, although the neighborhood was a bit rough. We never felt unsafe. The room was comfortable although street noise can be an issue and it could use some updates. Overall, we were happy with the room.

I didn’t like that a guest came in at one singing at the top of their lungs, tad annoying!!!!

The downstairs pub was delicious. The room was clean and the beds were cozy.

Was a little run down and the location wasn’t in the nicest part of town. That last but I was aware of, but it was very easy to get to the centre and main attractions

Quaint, comfortable, clean. Exactly what I needed for my one night before catching a flight.

Having to walk up 47 steep steps to get to our room. No kettle in room to make tea or coffee.

The look and feel of the place. Very handy to hop on hop off bus stop no 9 (60mts walk)

The building is old and so you do hear other people in other rooms and it can be quite loud at 4am/5am if they've been out! But, there is nothing anyone can do about that and it can happen anywhere. It didn't detract from the lovely stay we had

Excellent location. Spacious and clean room Lovely building and staff Secure The kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities is a fantastic touch and we utilised that every morning I would definitely stay here again, it exceeded my expectations

Maybe cheaper prices for drinks in the pub, but I realise this is Dublin! Some live traditional music in the pub would be great.

Our reception at the pub was friendly and prompt. Located within a few minutes' walk of the Temple Bar and Trinity College area, with many buses stopping in the one-way Pearse street, as well as the Dart train station just 5 minutes down the street, were all most convenient. The tea and coffee provided, as well as the fridge in the dining room, were very welcome, with a lovely outlook on the street. Delicious breakfast pastries were available at Bread 41 next door, so there is a definite saving on eating breakfast out. The room was spacious, the carpet and bathroom spotless. Daily cleaning was done. The noise of the street was not heard when the windows were shut. The beds were comfortable. Having an amazing 18th-century pub downstairs for food and drinks was great. Staying in the historical Michael Collins room was an added bonus! I would definitely stay at O'Neill's if ever visiting Dublin again.

The prices of hotel in Dublin are high, so it is in this case too. Sad the don't give a little breakfast option in the morning as they used to do. A lot of cafe options close by.

Nice option in downtown Dublin, upstairs of a pub, in a quiet area of the city. The room is confortable, and there is a little area where you can make tea and coffee. There is a private access to the rooms, so you don't have to go trough the pub at night

The room had no air conditioning, and it was unseasonably warm when we were staying there. They had fans available in the room.

Be prepared for stairs. I didn't have a problem with a carry-on suitcase, but it can be a little difficult to navigate the first set of stairs with larger luggage.

Beautiful location, very cute and clean. It's a short walk to Trinity college. There is also a bus stop just across the street, and several others within a few blocks, so it was easy to navigate to a ton of places around town. Check in was a breeze. We ate at the pub downstairs and it was also very good.

The location was great, and we loved being over the pub. The staff was very friendly and the food at the pub was excellent. Everything was clean and it was really nice having access to the kitchenette/dining room. The beds were very comfortable and in-room decor and amenities were perfect! It was a tiny bit noisy being right on the main street and next to the tram line, but we kind of expected that. It wasn't loud enough that it kept us awake or woke us up, but wouldn't be great for light sleepers (though I think you'll get some level of noise anywhere in the city). We didn't have an issue with the two flights of stairs, but it might be tricky for those with mobility issues. We would definitely stay here again!
