Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThe fan in our room never turned off so was quiet loud and the bed was very creaky. We were in room 110 and paid for the upgrade and werent very impressed with the value for money. When we went in the throw cushion on the bed had crumbs on it. Couldnt warrant paying for a starter has they were very overpriced
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Couldn't fault them. Food was nice.

United KingdomRoom heating controls and the lack of heating in the bathroom was quite concerning, it made for the shower and bath to become exceptionally cold and without adequate ventilation meant the room was unnecessarily steamy
Room was very comfortable and having the use of the spa and gym facilities without any additional cost was a big benefit in the overall stay

After moving rooms all was ok. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Although we were to busy, there is a health club to use. Bar was friendly and welcoming.

IrelandDont bother with the breakfast. We had a poor experience. Staff need training. We approached the host stand and received no hello or good morning just “what number” to which we replied what? Your staff member rolled her eyes at us and said “what room number.” We told her and she said okay. Then walked away. We had to find a table ourselves which was extremely difficult as they were all filthy. We were not asked if we wanted any tea or coffee, we did not receive any. We also were not told that half of the hot food is actually in the kitchen and has to be requested, such as beans, hashbrowns, poached egg etc. We only knew from overhearing other people asking , and watching them chase your staff around the breakfast room to ask for tea. The pancake machine wasnt working. The food that was sitting out was dried up and cold, and swimming in grease. And to top it all off your staff started setting up the room for a meeting while everyone was trying to eat their breakfast. So tables and chairs were being pulled around the place and stacked up to prepare for this meeting that was not until 12. We were at breakfast at 8 am so i dont know why they felt the need to cause a disturbance then. She also would not let people sit at the rear of the breakfast room , and squashed everyone in up the front so she could prepare for this meeting. Just appalling way to treat guests who have paid so much money.
Was greeted by the lovely Arusha at reception. Very kind and welcoming. Big hotel in a good location. Room was huge and had everything you could want. TV wasnt great. Small and few channels. Leisure centre was lovely and pool was heated which was a nice touch.

IrelandOn our first night we where woke at 1.22am by people walking, talking & moving, what sounded like furniture, above us. I did mention it to reception the following day & they said it was probably staff setting up for a function the following day & if it happened again just to ring reception!!! We had dinner in the Bistro the first night, didn't seem to busy but we found the wait to be served quite long. Starters where fab but mains disappointed us. We had booked breakfast for 8.30am, we found the food had been sitting since the start of service & the eggs we in a bad way, it was the same on the second morning. Alot of the chairs in restaurant & room where in bad need of a clean & there where cobwebs in our bathroom.
Loved the room, we paid for an upgrade & stayed in an Ellis Collection room. It was beautifully decorated & the bed was very comfortable. Car parking at the hotel was brilliant. The location of the hotel is perfect for a trip to Cork City & The Blarney Castle. Reception staff where lovely & friendly.

IrelandPool/gym was a bit outdated and could do with an upgrade. TV in my room wasn’t working fully, it was missing stations. My shower wasn’t very hot but it was just about acceptable.
It was presented well, warm and cosy on what was a miserably wet night when I stayed.
