The weather wasn't good, very wet and cold for August. Our room was a bit chilly. We understood breakfast was included but when we checked in we were told we needed to pay for breakfast and let them know in advance.

No breakfast available as advertised! Needs blackout blinds, room extremely bright from 5am! Hot water thermostat needs replacing! Pressure in shower very poor! When water eventually warms it is so hot even when set to zero that it could burn your skin! I couldn’t rinse my hair because the water was so hot!

Outside of our room there was a very strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. Breakfast was an extra cost, and I thought 10 euros for cereal and toast was a bit steep, but it seems to be the way of it in Ireland

The property was easy to locate and enjoyed a stunning vista over the fjord and surrounding mountains. The room was light, airy and well appointed. It was a comfortable room, with fabulous views out. A very short walk took you into the tiny village of Leenaun where we enjoyed the hospitality of one of the local pubs. The food served there was appetising and well-priced. We had a thoroughly good evening before retiring. We'd certainly stay there again.

Not enough water pressure in the shower and a little bit cold in the room in the morning but these were tiny details…

Very good location to enjoy the Connemara area and discover the beautiful Killary fjord! Breakfast with a view. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious and very complete. Rooms are confortable and very well equipped (UE electrical outlet!). Perfect stay…

The owner (?) wasn't overly friendly or welcoming. Breakfast paid separately is 15 euro which is quite steep on top of not-so-cheap room fee. We did not have it. When we asked the owner if the cafe in the village opens on Sundays he said he didn't know - would be nice if he had knowledge of the local businesses - it's a tiny village so it's not so hard. Room was quite old fashioned, could do with an upgrade. In the drawer there were open packets of cookies and chocolate! Makes you wonder how thouroughly they clean.

Location is very good with amazing views, there is ample parking onsite and little steps to get to the village faster. Beds were comfy, I slept well. The room had 1 European socket in addition to normal Irish ones, could be useful to some people.

The property needs updating, The shower had no power, Rooms are a bit outdated and just need a little upgrading, We ordered the full Irish very disappointed the ingredients were not local and (pudding, sausage, hash brown, rashers)deep fried.
