You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Check in was extremely easy. Underground parking was easy to find. Room was good size. Wifi was good. I didn't eat at the hotel as I was visiting family and ate with them but I used the gym and pool and both were good. Location of hotel was good too. a quick 5-10 minute drive into Limerick city.

I could have done with a few fewer emails! I got 10 emails from the Maldron just for this booking.
Breakfast was very good - buffet, with as much food as you wanted to eat. Good choice; the usual fried breakfast, as well as a choice of cereals, nice toppings, GF bread and separate toaster, fruit, and some cold meats. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. There were a few spots of mould in the sealant between bath and wall, and the bottom of the door was a little water damaged, but otherwise it was clean, and there was plenty of hot water with a decent pressure. Dinner - the menu didn't include any vegan options, but the staff made me up a special stir fry which was very tasty.

Decor might need a bit of updating, but we liked it well enough. Same with the pool but we still enjoyed it very much, the changing facilities were more than adequate.
The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, breakfast was excellent, staff were lovely, pool was most enjoyable, underground parking very convenient and the price wasn't bad for a Saturday night. We would stay again, thanks!

Should be a timer on the jacuzzi as I was over 30 minutes waiting on people to leave it and they would not move . Should be extra security on the main entrance I noticed last night that the one security was getting grief from 2 little brats asking horrible questions to him . Weird smell on the hall way leading to our room on 1st floor . Should be an extra charge for parents who can't control their children knocking on doors and running off . The barrier in the underground carpark was never down

Rooms nice and clean. Shower brutal, pressure bad, no coverage. Other room, shower better. Bathrooms need updating and fixing. Pool nice enough, small but nice to have for kids. Outside of hotel needs a real revamp.. Clean up, windows cleaned, few pots of plants.. Needs to be more inviting. Staff at reception lovely, accomadating. Breakfast, not great. Yes, there is choice but its drab, cold eggs, bacon very fatty.. Just needs a good revamp too! Nothing to write home about. Location was great for us but €300 for 2 rooms plus €60 for breakfast.. Not worth it.

The toilet seat , it was stained with fake tan is how it looked. Broken and flaking. The cleanliness of the wash basin wasn’t good. I was picking another persons make up off the granite. The shower was hit and miss. You would be mid shower and the water would just stop. Pressure was very low when it came back on then. It wasn’t as close to town as I would have liked. And when you order a taxi through the hotel the driver puts on €3 on top of the price. This we knew nothing about.
The staff were lovely. Very friendly. The room was nicely positioned being a family room and a great size.

The level of cleanliness in the bathroom was not fabulous. And the bath drain was a bit clogged. There is little around the hotel other than a couple of supermarkets, which means the hotel restaurant is the only option really.
The rooms were large. The staff really very good. We were in a rush one morning and the person in charge checked whether the restaurant was ready to open a few minutes in advance to help us. And they were all super attentive and friendly - at reception, in restaurants, in the gym etc

The location is quite out of the way and it is better to stay there if you have a car. After checkout I realised that my Visa was debited by hotel. I sent an email asking what was it for and I got a reply that it was a mistake and it will be refunded. It was refunded minus a few euro, which does not really make a difference except when you are travelling on a work account, you need to justify everything by receipt.
I have stayed at Maldron Hotels before in other locations and somehow I expected better. Everything was just average. I like the fact that we had free parking.

All the staff I met were excellent, from the front desk to the leisure centre, bar/grill etc. Also, both evening meals were top quality and very good value for money under €20

The swimming pool the swimming lockers the shower blocks and the toilets were disgusting. The floor is all areas was flooded wet never checked and the bathrooms were filthy dirty.
Location. The hotel is big and well staffed. The breakfast was good.
