Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only tiny issue we had was with the bar, after ordering 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio we noticed that the glasses were very dirty and after bringing it back we got given 2 more dirty glasses and also the staff were not the nicest in the bar. But other than that the stay was perfect.
Staff were so nice and welcoming at reception, and we were also given a free upgrade which was a very nice surprise. The hotel is in an ideal location with gorgeous rooms and the views were amazing from our room. The price of the room was incredibly reasonable and we will definitely be back!

Price of the breakfast. We didn't book with breakfast and while my error I couldn't change on arrival so had to pay £23.00 EACH for two days. Very over priced and I feel this is a way to make money, not with the guest in mind.

Service was slow in the bar for dinner, but food was OK.
Large comfy room. Great pool and spa facilities - would recommend a facial and the thermal suites. Breakfast was nice, short walk into town.

No complaints but Pool was quite cold so couldn’t stay in it for long and that’s a huge downfall for us as we love the pools when we’re away. Pillows were also quite flat
Hotel room was fabulous and was super clean! Breakfast was fab and had a lot to choose from. Decor was stunning too. Staff were all so friendly and helpful, I planned the stay for my boyfriends birthday and I had paid for a dessert plate which was in the room when we arrived, they allowed us an earlier check in as we had been on the road quite early that morning

Would have liked a coffee machine in our room and our shower head was slightly broken.

Before arriving I made a call to the hotel to ask a couple of questions and let them know we would be arriving earlier then what we said in our reservation (we said we'd be there for 9pm but things changed and we arrived at 5pm) I was met with a rude answer of 'Yeah I suppose that's fine' and after I asked another question regarding our room I got an answer before even finishing my sentence with a rude tone of the woman I was speaking to. I wish I could say our room was amazing because when we first walked in we were amazed but after my partner dropped something and went to go pick it up and seen what was under our bed we were shocked we still didn't complain the whole stay, I had to bite my tongue a couple of times with the receptionists as when we were checking in the couple in front of us was treated completely different then us I understand you can have a bad day we all have those but that doesn't mean one guest should be treated differently then the other we are 2 supervisors in different hotels and we both thought the service was appalling. We were not informed that the restaurant is closed before our stay which was highly disappointing we ended up going down to the bar for a couple of drinks I have to say service in the bar was excellent and It could not be better.

Felt they needed more experienced staff during breakfast service. Slow in clearing away used delph etc & one staff at our table not experienced i.e. piling used plates on top of each other rather than clearing each onto one plate & easier to stack. I was fearful he'd drop the used plates!
