There were only 2 elevators serving the rooms which meant that at busy times we had to wait quite a bit to get on an elevator, the other option are the stairs but if you are in a higher floor or have small children is not ideal. The service at the Brasserie restaurant could be better.

Central Location with a lovely view of the river and marina, all the Hotel staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful, especially Mariana at the Front Desk!

We had a room with a river view. Got breakfast up 2 the room in the morning. It was delivered on time hot & exactly what we asked for. It was good quality food. Staff were very pleasent from start to finish

surprised couldn’t get sautéed onions with our steak and too late to get a dessert - think might have been the Chef having an ‘off’ day!!!

No towels at swimming pool for residents . There was a lane for swimmers but kids were using it having fun, I suggest that the lane is kept clear for swimmers n main pool for the kids.

Service in the bar could have been quicker although staff were attentive once we got their attention.

Over priced for location. I paid considerably less to stay in Radisson in stillorgan, Dublin,at a family event. The SEC conducts exam conferences regularly in Athlone, and the hotel prices generally in Athlone are going considerably past what we get as an allowance to stay over. There needs to be an SEC rate for teachers attending these conferences. When a Dublin hotel is cheaper than a hotel in Athlone, I can only concede that there is price gouging going on.

The staff were very friendly in reception but in the bistro I found myself waiting 10 minutes for a drink at the table and then 15 minutes at the bar. The bistro was moderately busy but not so busy that people had to wait so long. The housekeeping staff were very efficient and friendly.

Room was very warm couldn't leave the window open as our room was above the main entrance, thought the price for the room only was a bit pricey ,

The location is ideally situated, 5 min walk to shops, pubs etc, lovely town for shopping. Room was clean and spacious, Food in the restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly.

Went to get Dinner at 5.30 pm..got a menu but nobody came back to take it..there seemed a small staff who were seemingly only able to look after part of the area I was in..the meal itself was way below expectation when I eventually got it..was really upset and felt I did not get value for money..indeed I was almost not going to pay for it..other than that no other complaints..later on that night got a coffee there and the service had improved..like this hotel and will still come back to it but get more staff early in the evening..that’s it
