Not a lot of bathrooms/toilets/showers available for the size of it's hostel.. A LOT of school groups, which took over the kitchen and made the kitchen space feel very busy and not very open for other travellers to sit around and enjoy breakfast. Also the locker underneath the bed was placed so stupidly. I had to jank the locker out and it was hard accessible even at that point. I couldn't really open it. There was plenty of space in the rest of the room to put those lockers instead, but they were stuck underneath the beds.

Location is great, as you could enter into the city quite easily. There is also plenty of kitchen space to put your own stuff and cook (if the groups didn't take over lol). Beds were comfortable and sturdy.

The hairdryer was plugged next to a bed in the room, so I couldn't dry my hair because everyone was asleep 😔

Beds aren't that comfortable. Room's can get stuffy even with an open window.

I can’t say there was anything thanks

I was in a female dorm with our own shower room which I prefer. The bed was cosy and the room nice and warm. It was just a stop over for a hospital appointment the next morning. The bed was comfy and I slept well. The breakfast is cereal toast and jam, plenty really I don’t like a big feed in the mornings. And coffee/ tea available all the time. I didn’t use any other facilities so can’t comment on those. But I have stayed here before and always good and so reasonably priced.

the ensuite room had two showers and two toilets in it with little privacy in the showers. the door was lockable in my room's ensuite but another guest said theirs had no lock

Not the easiest getting our bags around the hotel, but that's more about our bags than the hotel! We enjoyed our night here

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, had a great night sleep in my bed here actually! We got a family room that had 3 bunk beds in it (6 beds altogether), my kids loved it! It's in a great location for a great price.

Too many beds crammed into a TINY room. The ladder on my bed was right at the door. If anyone opened the door while I was getting up or down the ladder they could have whacked off my ankles/legs and sent me flying. There was a box under the bed to store my stuff. I could not pull it out without completely blocking the door and once again, potentially get hit by anyone entering the room. My bed was not safe and I am by no means a person who usually worries about this kind of thing. Also, the showers are not very private.

The pillows were not comfortable to sleep and the room felt hot in the night as we couldn’t open the windows. The breakfast could have had more options.

The staff was very friendly and Rachel gave very good recommendations for food and drinks. The hostel is centrally located and easy at walking distance from everywhere in Galway.
