Although we expected the accommodation to be noisy, as it was above a pub, it was the noise from other guests on the first night that was the problem. The rooms were not very noise proofed, and late night (very early morning) residents made a lot of noise, which felt like they were in your room. Subsequent nights were OK.

Nice location in a quieter part of Dublin. Clean room with a comfy bed and a good size ensuite. The staff, who all worked in the bar, were very friendly and helpful. The pub below served good food and drink at a reasonable price for a capital city. Great value for money and with a Leap ticket for Dublin public transport, it was easy to get into town and see the sights.

Lovely staff, good location. Nice pub downstairs. Rooms could use a bit of a makeover. There is a sign up that the lift is not available for use between midnight and 10am which was concerning as I had to leave prior to 10am and was staying on the top floor with a heavy suitcase. Luckily a lovely staff member was around to escort me down in the lift and exit through the pub. Would recommend teeing this up prior if you are leaving before 10am as the stairs down are very steep and narrow from the top floor. All in all I had a pleasant stay.

The pub can be a bit noisy if you plan to go to bed early.

We had a wonderful short stay! The location was ideal for getting around the centre of Dublin, and everything felt easy and convenient. The staff were warm and very accommodating, kindly arranging an early check-in after our morning flight, which made all the difference and let us rest before exploring the city. Highly recommend!

The room could maybe do with a freshen up and carpet clean, it wasnt bad but it would make it a lot better. The toiletries need replaced after each stay as I went to use some and it was empty and the towels were very rough. Just minor details really. Everything else was ok and the staff were lovely and coped so well under pressure.

The staff were lovely and helpful, general atmosphere in the bar was great and I loved the little dog running around. The room was very basic but had what we needed and the bed was comfy.

Contacting about check in time and some other question i had before I went there was a bit difficult. They won't respond through email at all. Also something with the payment wasn't right. It showed up as paid on my side but not at theirs. Was fixed tho.

The rooms were safe, clean, yet small. The location was close enough to the sights we needed to visit, but there was some garbage on the ground a block away where we walked often. this place fit our needs nicely. the staff was super friendly and helpful.

No breakfast available and quite noisy because we're were in a front room over the bar, which was very busy due to the rugby when we stayed.

Location for the Aviva is perfect. Room was a very decent size and comfortable. Bar downstairs was also great for food and drinks.

It was exactly what I wanted in terms of affordability, location, and friendly greeting. It is clean, but certainly not a luxury hotel. Make sure to ask questions about lodging upfront because if bar is closed, there is no front desk.

The room was comfortable but could have done with a lift. The vanity light in the bathroom and the hairdryer both had a life of their own and you needed to hold your mouth right for them to work 😃 . Staff were very friendly and efficient - new batteries for the remote and a fan for the room were provided quickly. Bar was popular and the food was good. Bonus of a fun pub quiz on Thursday
