The check in was very easy and simple. Just the way I want it to be. Location very good. Quiet and still not too far from town centre. A nice walk after a nice meal. The price was very competitive also.

During our stay, the Wi-fi was impossible to access within our room. In our room, the TV was very small and placed up in the upper corner of the room - though Kenmare has enough to do that we rarely had it powered on.

Settled on the southeastern edge of the Ring of Kerry, Kenmare is a lovely town that carefully walks the line between tourist destination and best keep secret. As such, The Lodge is an excellent base for either beginning or ending your exploration of the Iveragh Peninsula. The spacious rooms and comfy beds are the perfect place to relax after hitting either one of the trendy pubs downtown with fresh seafood and live music or the family-owned craft brewery with organic ale options - both within a five minute walk down the street. Whether you prefer to indulge in the popular attractions on the Ring or enjoy the atmosphere in a more quiet manner, The Lodge will certainly feel more like home than simply just another hotel.

Location was perfect, room was spotless had everything I needed. Close to everything. Bathroom was beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and decorated beautifully. Kitchen downstairs has everything you need to make your own breakfast and staff were very helpful.

Super comfy clean accommodation with easy walking distance to the town on footpaths (5 mins to Main Street. No breakfast available in the accommodation which we knew when we booked but there was tea toast cereal available In the kitchen if you wanted it Which was unexpected but nice. However we opted to go across the road to Kenmare Golf Club house and had a full Irish which was good value and excellent. Totally recommend this accommodation. It’s a Little gem.

Pity there was no breakfast facilities even though they have a fine kitchen ,there was an option for self catering but sometimes it's nice to have your breakfast done for you.

On the site they said no breakfast, but everything needed for a light breakfast was laid on , you made it yourself. Excellent idea. No time constraints, cup of tea when ever you wanted one. We had lunch in the garden

The breakfast service was terrible. Basically nonexistent. Cereal and bread in the kitchen, no yogurt, fruit or juice. The surroundings were the kitchen? Extremely poor.

The Housekeeping staff gave us exceptional service when we needed extra attention.

As guests keep arriving and departing at all times, our nights were a bit troubled by the noise.

Decoration is fabulous, we do feel like landlords of the 18th century. Rosemary is extremely kind, we were made welcome and really felt at home. The Lodge offers bread, cereals, tea and coffee as a courtesy. We could use the kitchen to prepare our breakfast and store our things in the fridge.

This was just a temporary choice of the day, but the overpowering smell of the lillies in the floral arrangements was not our favorite.

Everything! From the rooms having flower names (instead of numbers) to the extremely personable staff, nice & tastefully decorated and furnished, to the perfect walking distance from town center. All was perfect.
