Lovely location and quiet. Austin is a fantastic host, really friendly and really helpful he has made are stay somthing to remember will definitely recommend and will definitely be returning to the old goat house again

We loved the location tucked away in the garden. The host was lovely. We loved that it was a bit away from the town like a personal hideaway.

The step in the living space is a bit treacherous but the host stressed that we remember it so as to not hurt ourselves. We looked hard for a waste basket in the bedroom and bathroom only to find it later by the front door.

My host was very welcoming and couldn't do enough. The accommodation was much more spacious than it looked on the photos.

The place was lovely, beautiful and clean. Austin took care of us and assured that we were as much confortable as he could. Austin is the best! When we return to Ireland, we’re definetely stay with him again!

Our one-night stay at The Old Goathouse was the perfect ending to our trip to Ireland. Austin was a wonderful host, greeting us with a warm fire in the fireplace and treating us to freshly baked scones in the morning. The cozy atmosphere and Austin’s kindness made it an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better farewell to this beautiful country!

Lovely quiet place away of a city fuss

A quiet peaceful hideaway that was very accessible to so much exploring. Host communicated very well, room and sitting area was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Great gardens, fresh treats to start the day, engaging friendly and helpful hosts. Many thanks

Our stay at The Old Goathouse was wonderful! A lovely quiet and relaxing location with secure parking. The accommodation was exceptional, lovely rustic decor, a very spacious living room area and bedroom and lovely large, bright bathroom. The bed was so comfortable with an electric mat under the sheets for that extra bit of heat to keep you cosy! Austin was an amazing host, was very attentive to us and brought us some lovely pastries and a pot of tea each morning! His dogs were also the highlight of our stay they were all gorgeous and ever so friendly 😊 Would be delighted to stay here again in future!

Austin was a very gracious and most helpful host. He welcomed us and showed us around our lodging even though our plane was delayed so we arrrived later than expected. He had prepared the room for a chilly night very thoughtfully. The bed and the room were comfortable and cosy; the bathroom spacious and the shower good and easy to use. He brought us a warm, fresh-baked scones in the morning with butter, jam, good strong coffee and tea and a friendly good morning - a wonderful start to the day. All in all a perfect spot to stop the night, feel warm and welcomed and ready to explore.

Toiletries in the shower - shampoo, condition and shower gel - and a hairdryer would have been extremely helpful and the one finishing touch the Old Goathouse needs. I didn't think to bring them so I wasn't able to clean up a much as I would have liked. Otherwise everything was perfect and very thoughtfully arranged.

A really lovely place with a lovely host. Austin really makes you feel at home from BEFORE you are actually there. The place is lovely, breakfast was nice and as a bonus there are three gorgeous dogs you can pet!

Lovely little spot. Austin is a great host who's very welcoming. There's a small stove to keep cosy and the scones in the morning are a lovely touch.

This property is a little gem, in a beautiful location. Full of character. Austin is an amazing host and dropped tea and fresh baked goods in the morning for breakfast. The room had everything needed for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended

The host personally cooked us scones and I must say they were delicious. The bed was very comfortable and the location was convenient on the way from Dublin

Location was a good, however it was a good 15 minute drive to obtain an evening meal but it was in the countryside as advertised.

Austin was amazing, he was so kind and welcoming! The scones he brought us for breakfast were delicious. The accomodation was beatiful! The bed was so comfortable, we have been traveling in Ireland for ten days and this was the best night sleep of the entire trip! Definitely recommend!
