Room was tired. A lick of paint on the window side, replace the chipped headboard and minor infill on the bath. It would take very little money to bring it up from good to excellent

Staff were excellent. Food was generally very good. Black pudding at breakfast was not up to Stornoway standard bur otherwise ok.

I don't think the carpet in the room was hoovered properly also for being a 4 star hotel not providing a pair of paper slippers is not acceptable. Quality of the soap and shampoo OK but not great.

Nothing I could complain about

Brendan and Gavin fitted us in for some golf at very short notice, first rate team at the golf shop. The whole package was first rate and free car parking just puts cherry on the cake.

Location, cleanliness and staff. Conny from the bar restaurant was an excellent waitress very kind and happy to attend us. Brian on the reception area was offering help with the luggage when we were checking out with our 2 kids, he was very nice.

The service in the Jameson bar was quite slow - we waited over an hour on the 1st night for any food, 30mins wait to have our drinks order taken also. There was also very little opportunity to just go and sit without having a booking.

Staff in reception were very accommodating, adding a night to our stay with little fuss. Also the staff in the restaurant with the view were extremely helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable also - mostly with great views.

They could do with a ramp at the main door instead of carrying suitcases up the steps. I didn’t like that they would not accept cash, it’s very strange in Ireland you won’t accept our currency

We got lucky with a sunny weekend so we were able to enjoy the beach and the golf course and they are stunning. Our room had a beautiful view and was super clean.

Only negative was our room number 106, I booked a Seaview but I got a ground floor room so was mostly a view of a grassy hill, was also quiet noisy late at night with the restaurant being above us, then early the next morning lots of people passing the room woke us, as we were next to the elevators and Spa

Beautiful hotel on a stunning location. All of the staff were so polite and helpful, especially the lovely concierge Brian! Will definitely return to stay during the summer and make use of the beach and try the Seaview restaurant

The staff working in the bar were inattentive. There were only a few tables full yet we had to wait for someone to acknowledge our presence as we sat up at the bar ready to order. Not a huge issue but definitely a customer service no no in my book. Room 208 has a rip in the curtains at the floor. The shampoo and body wash dispenser in the shower don’t pump very well. A little frustrating trying to get enough in your hand. I encourage the manager to give it a try to see for yourself.

Seaside location is lovely! Sea view room provided a truly spectacular view. Plenty of free parking. Front desk staff were very professional and welcoming.
