Top class service from Gerry and all the staff at The Rafters! Checked in a group of 21 golfers for the weekend and was very professional with the whole process!! Gerry had the crack with the group and joined in the jokes and laughing was plenty the whole weekend!! Gorgeous breakfast 2 mornings, set us up for the day of golf!! Rooms were spotless and exactly what we needed for a big group right in the center of town!! Walking distance to all the pubs and restaurants in the area!! Will definitely re-visit!! shower head wouldn't stay up properly. says on Web site there is parking but it's pay parking.. wasn't too expensive..

Lovely food, relaxing nights sleep, perfect location. The staff are so helpful and attentive. As good as a hotel with the bar downstairs . Will definitely book again on our next trip to Kilkenny.

Couldn’t fault this place

My daughter and I spent the night here on Saturday, last minute booking. The room was great, clean, bright and met our needs. We had breakfast on Sunday which was traditional Irish and added bonus as was very enjoyable. Staff were fantastic and so helpful and welcoming. Location ideal. The bar downstairs just captured the spirit of Kilkenny. We will be back 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The room needs a bit of updating eg cracked tiles dated bathroom. Toilet seat came off the toilet while i was using it ...room was extremely cold at night, and the duvets were only thin summer ones

Staff were very friendly and helpful..the guy who checked me in was very kind and carried my bag upstairs too. Bar looked very nice.

We couldn’t turn down the heating so had to open the window. Street noise and music from live band was a bit noisy - but only until 11pm so not too bad. No where to hang towels and clothes in bathroom.

Nice clean, comfortable accommodation. Good breakfast. Close to everything.

Location was brilliant, quick walk to any pub or shop. Had dinner in the bar which was lovely and great price. Staff were great and room was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.
