If you’re looking for a warm Irish welcome and an authentic experience then this is the place. Banagher is in the heart of Ireland and there is lots to see and do within easy reach. The town has a lovely wee marina and great pubs where you will meet the nicest people. The house is well located and full of facinating history just a short walk from all amenities. The owner, Ger, is warm, generous, kind and thoughtful. He was very attentive without being intrusive and gave us loads of information about where to go and what to see which we found invaluable. We had great weather and all in all this was one of the best holidays we have ever had.

Everything was great.

We stayed at the townhouse for five nights while visiting family. Ger, the owner, was exceptional with communication and even leaving us fully stocked with kitchen essentials (milk, tea, coffee, eggs, bread, paper towels and even apple pie!) and toiletries (shampoo, soap,toilet paper). The townhouse is quaint, comfortable and full of history. The place was immaculate and the shower was hot with great water pressure. Ger met us and took the time to show us around his home. We even met him out for a drink at the local pub. He's a gentlemen and the residents of Banagher were extremely welcoming. Great restaurants, take-aways, and Trad sessions in the pubs. Ger introduced us to the local pub owner and gave us great suggestions on local activities to do with my three teens. We will be back again!

There is nothing that we can find to complain about as everything was great!

The cabin was very clean and very well stocked. Ger met us at the door with the key and he gave us mini tour and showed us how things worked. He provided us with goodies (bottle of wine, bread, coffee, an apple pie, and cream which went well with the strawberries we picked up along the way). The cottage is quite central which makes it easy for day-tripping the surroundings areas & we highly recommend Simon Lyons bar down the street - good place to have a Guinness after a day of exploring. Ger was great, he is a wealth of knowledge and willing to help. He can be counted on for suggestions for places to visit and for any issues that may arise.

A great location, to base ourselves and very accessible to all the areas for our self-drive site seeing. The Townhouse was in walking distance to shops, pubs and historical sites. Ger, our host was fantastic. A very knowledgeable and welcoming person, we were made to feel like family. He went above and beyond to make sure our trip was relaxing for us. Ger sourced various sites and attractions for us to visit. He was in contact with us during our stay giving us updates on places to visit as well as checking on the accommodation to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Banagher is such a beautiful place to visit, and the township members were very welcoming and made us feel as though we belonged there. A place very rich in history.

Ger is a true gentleman and a wonderful host and he did everything he could to make our stay in Ireland great. The house is full of character, with lots of old-world charm, and it had everything we needed. We loved our time here!

We had a lovely chat with the owner on arrival and he gave us lots of information about Banagher and the surrounding area. We learned a lot about the local history. The location was perfect as we just parked up the car a strolled into town.

The water quality isn't the best,high lime content but bottled water is cheaply available in the local supermarket and I would recommend that for tea and coffee making

Gerard was a lovely host with plenty of local knowledge,the house was spotlessly clean, cosy and we enjoyed our stay greatly,the dogs were very happy too!Can't recommend the place highly enough.
