Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not much as didn’t like,just a wee suggestion. Just put in the guest information book in the rooms, that you need to bring change for the lockers for the pool changing area.
Staff were very kind , welcoming and helpful in both reception, restaurant and bar. Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. Great location. Food was delicious. Great live band on a Saturday. Good Guinness.

Playground is out of order. In general the hotel is very kids and elderly friendly, but it needs to open playground or play areas. Also swimming opening time should be longer.
All the staff is absolutely awesome, helpful, friendly and excellent service. Breakfast is amazing, in general service was incredible. We had a very comfortable and peaceful staying.

In general everything was very good
I liked the room and the breakfast. However I would have liked to avail of a corporate rate as I was down in Bantry to work

The staff were so friendly and accommodating on check in. Breakfast was lovely, good choice and good quality. There is parking onsite and lots of seating areas in reception if you want somewhere to hang out

Pity the restaurant wasn't open . But the bar area was fine too.
The girl at check in was really nice and gave us a discount without having to ask for it . She didn't have to be so generous. Began our stay on the right note .

Food is fantastic especially our evening dinner in the bar. Staff are very nice and easy to please especially Vhenzar Daniel his nice, helpful and friendly. Wonderful experience we really enjoy the pool too. Looking forward to going back to westlodge again.

The breakfast was definitely not worth €15 each probably worst breakfast we have had in our travels . Eggs must have been made 2hrs before serving scrambled egg you could slice ! Bacon and sausage like rubber ! Since we have had better for half the price

Dinner in Hannie's was convenient,but food quality was just OK. Our corridor was noisy at night, loud banging of doors until well after midnight and screaming child/children and shouting parents that kept us awake very late.
Great location. Room very clean and a good size. Swift check in. Staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of tea and coffee in room. Fabulous to have air con. Service in Hannies was excellent.

The outdoor playground was out of action, but there was no sign until you were literally at it, should have just been said at check in.
Room was very spacious, staff are really friendly, there are great facilities for kids, and the food is good.

Poor WiFi throughout and TV channels in room coming and going. Food in restaurant quite bland and vegetarian breakfast not worth the €15 in my opinion.
Staff were nice and friendly. The lobby very relaxing. Receptionist very accommodating and switched room for us when we requested. Leisure centre staff lovely and great system when checking in.

While the rooms are modern the double bed was slightly smaller than we would have liked. The room was more than large enough to accommodate a bigger bed. The breakfast staff were lovely but the full Irish breakfast could have been a bit better.

The breakfast could have been better. Our first morning the hot food was limited and seemed to have been sitting there for a while. The second morning was much improved with more food available.

We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was very good. The room was superb, very big, newly refurbished. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Great facilities. Loved the place!
