we booked in for a seaweed bath, had to leave it early as we where frozen and there was no hot water, but was still charged full price for the so called service, have sent 2 emails to the hotel and to date no one has replied to me which is very disappointing

Unfortunately the heating was not working on arrival and weren’t told of this. However we did ask for a heater for the room which helped until heating was fixed throughout the night.

We had the do not disturb sign on our door and cleaning staff entered twice despite this. We were only informed of the jacuzzi and steam room being out of order on check in, they were big reasons why we booked here so that was very disappointing. Seemed understaffed for a busy midterm week.

The sofa bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable for my daughter and our room was next to the lifts, from early morning we could hear the lift everytime it moved.

The main beds in the room were huge and lovely and comfy and the staff and food in the bar were excellent, the guy at the pool was lovely,welcoming and really helpful..

very limited food choices… just one Bar Menu available in the hotel despite them advertising that there is also a Restaurant. This is a real disadvantage as there are no other options in the immediate area of Rosses Point!

*Bar staff were disinterested and quite slow. They perked up when the bar manager was around so this is something that could be addressed. *Swimming pool is great, but it would be good to see the Leisure Centre staff being more active in cleaning up/mopping up wet areas in changing areas. Water was clean and a decent temperature.

Family room was of a great size, with comfy beds and perfect room temperature for sleeping. Reception staff were extremely friendly as well. Swimming pool perfect for the kids.

I sustained in injury in the swimming pool. The circular vent on the wall from kids pool into main pool is too sharp. I was swimming , breast stroke and made contact with the vent mid stroke. It caused a laceration to my finger. I got tissue and plasters from reception. My finger is still not fully healed and is lacking mobility. I'm only glad it was me injured and not my kids. You need to look at those vents

The room was very basic and had no air-conditioning very warm wasn't worth the money for a supposedly 4 star hotel there was no lift up to the rooms that I was in .

It wasn't worth the price we paid. I know everyplace is expensive now but it didn't feel four star to me. There was no fridge in our room. No jacuzzi and pool could do with a clean as floor is full of "stuff".

Price - incredibly expensive .. the rate was twice the price it should have been for a single & didn’t even include breakfast .. Irish hotels have lost the plot with their pricing this summer & the public will soon be going abroad instead of staying local which is a great shame . When I rang the hotel direct they looked for €240 even though they told me I should have booked directly this would have been yet another 40 euro more than the 200 I paid .
