Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room assignments and no tours.
Asked for an all ma,le room, other guests were rude and put their belongings on all the beds. No other option was allowed and had to be moved during Shabbat into another room in the middle of the night.

Very friendly atmosphere and I made some new friends. Clean twin room, all that is needed for living, good breakfast. Convenient location with lots of transport options, including light rail. Also, the elevator was very useful.

Excellent location with bus stops/tram outside or around corner, restaurants and market nearby, and close to central bus station. Mix of dorms and private rooms. Many breakfast choices. Room was spacious, with separate shower and toilet rooms, each with a sink. Sink, small refrigerator and hot water heater, with coffee/tea options in room. Big closet, Wall heater/AC worked fine. Can open windows. Elevator, if you need it. Laundry facilities were excellent. They organize a number of activities, though what they had posted on arrival differed from their website.

The 10-persons room was fully-packed and felt a bit too crowdy, suffocating. The water in the room shower should be heated. This is not an issue for me, because there as always hot water in the public showers, but some prefer to know that in advance.
Nice place, nice facilities. Kind and patient staff, available 24/7. Great location. There is plenty of comfortable and spacious public areas. Good facilites, big kitchen. Clean and comfortable showers. The place feels secured, because at night the door is locked and guarded by the staff.

Not so clean and very basic. Female receptionist wasn't the friendliest.

Would appreciate if Abraham offered extended promotions and discounted tours on booking accommodation to a longer period..
Location , close to shops, tram.Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was lavish with varieties, and with healthy options. A friendly and welcoming and hospitable staff.Thoriughly enjoy the tours, and were organized and exceeds my expectations..

You need to find the right people to sleep with you, Jerusalem attracting all kinds of people.

The noise from the street was terrible. The shower wasn't comfortable. Poor breakfast without anything to eat for my celiac child

The ho( s )tel is in a positive way very unique. 1. Very friendly personal with any advice you want. 2. Many events in the hotel roof top ( a very nice roof top to relax ), often with artists of all kind ( music , and others ) 3. Once a day a free guides tour throogh Jerusalem 4. It s very central: You can vist close to the hotel Mahane Yehuda,: at daytime teh largest market of Jerusalem , at night offering many restaurants ( a 5 minute walk ) 5. To Jaffa gate and therefeore to the old city 10 minutes. 6 Tram station every 5 minute depart 7. The price for the time we spend there very low ( 80 EUR ) while the next is 50 % % higher. 8. After teh first night we got an offer to stay an other night with 10 % discount. 9. Very mixed guests frrom young to old, from religious to hippie: extermely interesting !!!! 10 price-performance ratio unbeatable 11. Parking Lot directly near the hotel ( non revable ) 70 Shekel per 24 hours , which is for Jerusalem totall yokay

I found breakfast a little variety, but maybe that's because the menu is unfamiliar to me. but for me, the espresso, cheese and orange juice are enough.
I liked the location and the value for money. also being able to buy tours in the same place, and the tour prices are fair

The building is pretty old but inside is renovated and very welcoming!
Tours are highly recommended! Location is good, walking distance from the Old city and 1 min from the Ha Davidka train stop. The guys at reception were very friendly and helpful, especially Mor! He was very patient to reply to all my questions, very friendly and professional.The best!
