Only microwave, not cooker at all. The smell of the washing powders quite strong in beddings. 5 min walk to the pool.

The pool was really great with the shelter over it. The cleaning was effective. The breakfast was local and tasty. The chocolate factory workshop just nearby and nice for kids.

Not good for self catering purposes but cafes close by. Would have loved to have had a BBQ.

The friendliness of staff And residents of the Kibbutz. We stayed at 3 different locations in Israel but this is the one talked about the most by our family. Location was perfect in Gaililee. We would love to revisit in the future. We were invited to tea by one of the residents of the Kibbutz. Could have spent our whole holiday at this site and enjoyed the experience.

The area around looks sometimes like an abandoned military base. The room is a bit too expensive (120 Euro a night) for the quality.

Clean room. The lunch in the local canteen was good and cheap (less than 30 NIS per person). Staff was very helpful.

No mirrors except in the bathroom. Little sense of hospitality. The front desk receptionist was helpful and pleasant. The dining room staff told non- group visitors to not kibbutz tables , but to sit only at separate tables.

Good beds, plenty of towels. Very interesting AM tour of the facilities.

This is a very nice place! It's an authentic kibbutz, from 1920, one of the oldest. Very nice, friendly and warm staff, you feel like part of the kibbutz. Nice surroundings, nice and big area inside to walk around. Cheap and very good dinner!

I loved the room; although a double bed would have been nice. Setting that aside, I loved everything about Degania Bet.

I loved the whole ambience of the Kibbutz from the setting above the Sea of Galilee, to the communal breakfasts, to the cemetery and fields of crops. It brought back all the best memories of my time as a Volunteer.

It was extremely noisy and I was kept up all night on the first night until 4am. Lots of young groups making a huge amount of noise and the families next to me were also extremely loud.

The staff were more than helpful and there was a small synagogue where the people were so lovely. Thankfully there were some much needed hammocks to relax in after having had no sleep in the night from noise.
