Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThis hotel was good, but not great. The front desk staff were nice enough, but the staff in the restaurant weren't either very helpful or polite. With breakfast being offered over a 4 hour period every time we went for breakfast we felt like we were getting in the way and were a huge inconvenience. Not a huge deal, just not the best.

AustraliaThe beds were single beds and narrow and not the normal size you would expect in a hotel.THey are OK for smaller people but most europeans (larger Americans a real squeeze) would have problems.Stayed 2 nights and then moved to another hotel
Location is very good and not far from Old City but generally caters for large tourist groups. The breakfast selection is exceptional and varied for all dietary requirements. Hotel is rather old and rooms are small. They need renovation

NorwayWanted to watch a sports event with some from our group and even though no other guests were using the bar area we were not allowed to watch the game there even though we had the necessary wire to connect to the TV to display the game.
The property was nice, but the rooms were a bit dated. One member of our group was upgraded to a much nicer renovated room when they complained. If they are in the process of renovating all the rooms like this then I think the future is bright for this hotel. The lobby area was comfy as well and the food was above average.

United States of AmericaWe had dinner included. But there was no display or information given about the set menu. Or no questions asked when we sat down. We received large plates of mixed cooked meat of varying cooked-length i.e. medium rare steak and well done chicken. So if it was not to your liking or too much, then it would be a waste.
We were able to check-in early. Buffet breakfast. Friendly staff who could speak English. Location of hotel. Good access to local and frequent bus services.

United States of AmericaThe beds were not comfortable. We were exhausted at end of each day because of being so busy seeing the sights. We would have appreciated a more comfortable bed. We could not dislodge the sheet to pull all the way up, it was made so tightly.
The food was wonderful...just like we remembered it. There was a large variety and excellent courteous wait staff.

IsraelI can not think of anything of importance that could have been improved upon.
Did not eat the buffet breakfast. It is way too much food for breakfast. We had a delicious omlet in the bar / snack shop . It was plenty of food and a good value for 45 NIS.

United States of AmericaA/C would turn off when I left the room. After I long day of walking/site seeing to come back to a hot room was very disappointing. Also, the A/C would turn itself off in the middle of the night. Bed and bedding not comfortable. When I inquired to extend for one more night stay they said the price would be the same. When I came to extend the room the price increased by about $45 USD. I opted to leave and find another hotel that took was cheaper and more comfortable.

Wonderful Hotel The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It had a beautiful view of the olive tree all decorated. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. They all speak English and as a foreigner I was treated very politely and respectfully. For New Year's Eve in the hotel bar and restaurant, I felt very much at home and the maitre D called “Dia” made our New Year's Eve very happy and I would like to thank him for this. The food at the Hotel is delicious with many options in the buffet. The buffet has many sections, everything is excellent and the chef is to be congratulated. The location is very good and close to many historical and biblical sights. All of these were within walking distance.
