We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesFantastic location, near the airport and the train station, so the perfect place to stay if you arrive later in the day. Fantastic host, went out of his way to help out and make sure that I was ready for travel in Israel – I’d consider Sergiy (I’m not sure about the spelling) good people. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay the night before setting out, it’s the perfect place to stay.

Our host exceeded our expectations, as we were also able to hire him to pick us up at the airport, and drop us off the next morning. As well as we were able to hire him to take us to Jaffa on a day trip, as well as back to our hotel. This was much appreciated, at a reasonable cost, was very friendly and informative, and was a great welcome to Israel! Thanks so much Sergei!

The host is very friendly and extremely helpful with any question you may have. It's a simple room, but great for one stay. Any downsides are more than compensated by the hosts efforts.

Australiaas it’s middle of summer. to get good sleep we wanted air conditioning. it did not work. it only blew out room temperature (warm) air. so basically a noisy fan. host friend tried to fix. could not. clearly needs new regassing. so this was uncomfortable. and hot and expensive for what we paid.
only needed overnight stay from airport. with morning connecting flight. was close to airport. room was small and basic but clean. host grandmother was nice - spoke no English. host friend picked us (2 pax) from airport and dropped back next morning. for extra 200shekels cost.
