Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumThe hotel has taken a reserve on my CC and I have called many times and a month after my stay i still hadn’t gotten it back! This caused me a lot of problems
The comfortable room. The great breakfast.

IsraelBeds were very comfortable, but pillows were not. There should be a variety of pillow types so that guests can choose the ones they’re most comfortable with. Decent quality tissues are readily available in Israel. There’s no excuse for the cheap type available at the hotel. As a safety measure, the stall showers should be outfitted with grab bars. The marble floor is very slick (perhaps this could be mitigated somehow), but at least grab bars would provide some security.
Breakfast is amazing! Such a large selection of foods!

IsraelThe room was really expensive! We wanted to add the supper and dinner of Shabbat it was 2400sh (!) for a couple The breakfast was not such a big deal. We expected something more sophisticated and fresh at this price In the room we didn't have a couch only chairs
Very luxury hotel the hotel itself is spacious with a good view from a few places in the hotels The location is great. near the mamila center and close to the old city

United States of AmericaThe noise from the traffic outside was so loud that we could not fall asleep till about three in the morning we had the new City view room which is a busy area . It calmed down quite a bit for the holiday because nobody was on the road at the end of the week. Thank goodness I would not stay at this hotel again, unless I was overlooking the pool or the old city to avoid the noise, constant beeping and sirens. One of the concierge’s was not friendly or welcoming. he made you feel like a pest just for asking a question. He needs to realize that’s his job even though he hears the same questions from people around the world all the time. communication is lacking from management regarding what is open for the Jewish holidays. I asked if the lobby lounge would be open Friday and was told yes ….when we came down to eat dinner, it was not open to the public. We were told to go to a different area where They had a few chairs shoved into a corner on the far side of the floor with no tables and said that was the restaurant for the night ….ridiculous . I asked if the breakfast buffet would be open every morning due to the upcoming holiday and I was told yes we got ready for breakfast Monday morning came down and it was closed. When they checked our name off for Sunday’s breakfast, someone should have said we will be closed tomorrow. it would have been nice if when we checked into the hotel we were told what would be closed and during our weeks stay. For the amount you pay this seems to be common sense. The hotel needs to cater to all people. I picked the hotel so that after our tours we could go downstairs and get dinner. dinner wasn’t available for us Friday Saturday or Sunday night. We expected much better service for a five star hotel. Lastly, I ask a doorman how much it would cost to go to a certain address, he talked to the cab for a while and I was ripped off by the set price he gave…my return cab was half the price.
The breakfast was very good and the men who waited on us were very attentive. Several were excellent, we did tip each day. The view of the old city was beautiful. Overall the hotel is very beautiful inside. The Lobby lounge was good and the two women who served us were very nice the restaurant we enjoyed the first night, whereas Thursday it was very busy and the waiter was average. The people cleaning the rooms and doing the night turn down or a very nice.

JerseyThe service at breakfast was very lacklustre-inattentive and disinterested.Similarly, the lounge bar/casual restaurant staff on the night of our arrival were unwelcoming and unhelpful and the limited food we could order was very average in quality. That whole area needs to be made more attractive, with a proper bar-dated decor and furnishings with no character at present. The hotel seemed rather dominated by large groups at times.
Our old city view balcony room on the 10th floor was excellent with lovely views, but our daughters’ room on the 5th floor overlooking a main road junction were noisy from traffic. The view from the Bersnda restaurant of the old city was beautiful. The head concierge,Eviator, was outstanding-extremely helpful, knowledgeable and full of charm and personality. The guides he arranged for us (Hannah for the old city walking tour and Etai for Masada and the Dead Sea) were superb. The special bread station and staff member there at breakfast was excellent.

United States of AmericaThe price is high. No two ways about it.
The location is great. The heated swimming pool is terrific. The children’s play area is, without exaggeration, fantastic. The architecture and interior design features are stunning. Among the staff, I would give shoutouts to Victoriya in the Children’s Center, Said in the Breakfast Room, and Aida and Loor in the 4th floor lounge.

CyprusAttention to cleanliness could improve in rooms and public areas. Limited choice of fruit served at breakfast. And the water melon had an oniony aftertaste. Everything else was excellent though and we had a lovely stay. All staff were extremely attentive and helpful.
Excellent hotel enjoying the best location in Jerusalem, professional and friendly staff and the convenience of being close to everything. The breakfast/dinner venue has a lovely feel of openness, especially if you sit outside. The coffee at breakfast comes with amazing artwork!!!

United States of AmericaThe physical facility is a bit tired. The room was showing its age, with scratches, scuffs and general wear. It could use a renovation. Also the Shabbat meals, while good, are a bit pricey. For the price, for example, they could offer a bottle of wine (or at least a free glass), and charging for sodas seems a bit much.
Staff was excellent. Extremely responsive and helpful. The location is great and the food plentiful and good.

Germanykids club should have actual staff to look after the kids properly- we had to hire a nanny for our 4 year old. In addition there were no drinks in the kids club. For hotels costing above 700 USD per night you’d expect some more high end touches like water brought to guests at the pool or complimentary melon etc Also at check in-you’d expect a welcome drink and a cold flannel and a place to sit but nothing- not even a place to sit. they have weird desks in the lobby?!
A beautifully appointed hotel in the best location with a stunning rooftop view over the pool of the old city. The family room was spacious and the facilities were good, very nice breakfast as well.

South AfricaThey don’t give you bottles of water in your room like most hotels do that are 4 stars and above. The shower door needed to be maintained /repaired as water was flooding all over the bathroom and floor was very slippery. Carpet in our bedroom under the bed was stained and looked like it had not been vacuumed for weeks. No kettle in the rooms for tea. Only a Nespresso machine and 4 pods.
the rooms are a nice size and modern. hotel is in a great position. nice pool area

United States of AmericaThe rooms are small and you have to walk past the closet to get to the bathroom. The doors to the closet area open in so if someone is changing and you need to use the bathroom, it’s a traffic jam. Poor room design. The bed is firm! If you like firm you’ll love this bed, otherwise it’s uncomfortable. The light switches are also hard to see( dark walls) and to figure out. It’s modern but not cozy. The mini-fridge didn’t get cold. When I called the front desk, they said “yes, they don’t work”. It would’ve been nice to have cold beverages. There is no self-serve laundry facilities. When traveling, it’s nice to be able to do laundry if needed. The hallways have no A/C. Super hot in July! This was surprising based on the price of this hotel.
Walking distance to Mamilla mall and City of David. Breakfast was excellent. Staff at door/ bellmen were excellent. Nice pool and kids area. Beautiful views from pool. Very clean throughout entire property. Staff are helpful and friendly. Wait staff at coffee bar, very nice! Overall, the location, breakfast and pool make this place worth visiting!
