Arrived after lunch ended but they said I could get food from room service - unfortunately no one answered and got hung up on so had to wait for snacks by the pool at 5pm to eat. The boat trip was okay but not down the canals all you really see is the other hotels along the backwaters, 1400 seemed very pricey for what it is.

Lovely room with your own garden space and everything you need. Very welcoming on arrival. Had nice snacks by the pool in the evening.

The dirtiest swimming pool I have ever seen. It was so cloudy you couldn't even see the colour of the tiles. There is also a rule about only swimming in your swimmers, apparently it's okay for Indian families to swim in their clothes... no wonder the pool is so dirty... The hotel is quite old and a little run down, they should really refresh the shared facilities, open spaces and do some maintenance upgrades.

When I first arrived, the room that i was given, was not what I had requested. They quickly fixed this up for me, and I had the most loveliest and largest suite with my own backyard garden, outdoor shower and quite privacy. The room was clean, the bed comfortable (only Indian TV options) but great Wifi in the room. The food was magnificent, they hosted 3 daily buffets and the choice was endless, each day it was a different selection of food. If you ever needed anything the staff would even and go to the kitchen and find it for you. Compliments to the chef and the entire food catering team. In the evening, there was music playing in the Reception area, which was a nice touch. Access to house / river boat cruises and the Revival Ayurveda Centre (make sure you book in, they are busy) The location is great on the lake and the views are amazing. A big shout out to Jancy, she is a rockstar! She is always checking in, ensuring everything is okay, seeing if you need anything at all, she has a big kind heart and a lovely smile.

You should have a gym in future.

Breakfast was good, with a plenty of spreadout. Spacious dining news with plenty of natural air coming. Staff are very courteous. Good place for a break from work. Quire & xalm environment.

The table tennis board could have been placed in a dedicated room.

The pool water was not very clear. The additional cot was not very comfortable. It was moving around easily on the floor and the edges were sharp. The check out time of 11am was too early. The bathroom had a tub into which my aged parents couldn't climb !

The holiday was very nice Ms Jancy at the reception was very friendly. Mr Binoy at the restaurant was very helpful while ordering our lunch. Suggested a better option . My Jiby , the manager also was around all the time taking care of everything. The lunch and dinner buffets at 800 rs perperson is real value with the wide spread of food. The breakfast was also very lavish.

You should know that there is also a la carte dinner, not only buffet, but you need to specifically ask for the a la carte menu.

The breakfast experience was disappointing. Limited options and quantities, coupled with understaffing. Otherthan this everything was great.

Escaping the city hustle, the tranquility of nature was truly refreshing. The staff provided excellent service, and the room offered a spectacular view. Overall, a delightful experience.

We had booked a particular boat ride in advance at Sunset. However the person who was in charge of the bookings, booked the same slot for someone else as well without checking the advance booking. the other party was smart enough to grab the chance and took the ride before we could realise. Although the staff apologized, our valuable time was lost and we had to take the ride in dark. It was a very casual handling by the front office and not at all appreciated.

Overall set up of the cottages, ambience, lake view was good. Breakfast was also good.
