Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsRoom and bathroom were not clean. Floor was very sandy. Upon my request, they did wash the floors right away. Room was small, definitely not 28 m2 as advertised (probably more like 14-16 m2). When confronted, the host said he was unaware the room was advertised as 28 m2; he had had the hotel only for nine months; all the rooms were the same size. The free breakfast was just toast and jam and milk tea.
Working elevator, secure hotel. Host was friendly. Hotel has solar panels. (Unfortunately, the hot water is only on in the morning - at night, you will have to request it.)

United KingdomRoom lacked a window to give any natural air flow or light, not a biggie for me but would have been nice to wake up with rajasthan sunlight in the morning
Staff very friendly and welcoming and gladly accommodated my late booking and any small requests I had during my stay such as for laundry, WiFi, toilet paper, advice for shops & restaurants etc. Great size of room and bathroom with facilities such as smart TV and very good AC/Fan to stay cool and comfortable at night. Good secure feel to hotel, front door is locked usually and staff are around with CCTV. Good double locks on hotel doors to add to security. Little toast & tea breakfast in the morning is a nice gesture, although if you have an appetite and/or used to big breakfast you’ll need more food as a heads up. They let you store some food in a fridge at reception which is helpful.

ItalyThing we liked less, that could be improved: - the door that gives to the balcony has loose sills and lets in a lot of cold air (a problem only if you go there in winter) - no hair dryer in the property (but we compensated with electric heater) - some weird guests making noise in the common areas (at some point they even banged on our door at night), which is not really the owner’s fault but still was unpleasant
The bed was comfortable and the room relatively clean. Hot shower even at night. Breakfast included for very convenient price. The staff was very helpful and kind. They addressed all our needs and concerns. We were a bit sick and they even let us use an electric heater to feel a bit warmer at night. I would recommend for the special attention of the owner.

United StatesThe hot water worked too well. once it got hot, it was scalding and couldn't be turned down.
we had a nice stay at Hotel Angel's Paradise. The room was a nice size and it was comfortable and clean. The location was good, just a quick tuk tuk or Uber ride to the city palace and other highlights plus next to some good restaurants and cafes. The staff was friendly and even drove me to an ATM to get out cash when we realized we were short the cash needed to pay.

United KingdomThe bathroom could have been cleaned better, especially the sink. The floors in the room are dirty and need to be mopped. There were also ants all over the place including in the bed and other insects around. The mattress is very hard. I got used to it after a while.
The staff are very helpful and will help you with anything you need. The owner stayed up late to help me check in when I had an early morning arrival. The breakfast provided is simple, but it's nice to have (I had toast with jam, black tea and occasionally fruit). You have the option of the AC or the fan and a TV with YouTube access in the room (For Netflix you need your own account). The internet quality is fine for general use.

Australia- The staff on shift at the time of my check-in seemed to prefer watching clips on his phone and appeared to be totally disinterested in the job. - I was initially told by this staff member to turn the hot water tap to the left and leave it run for 5 - 10 minutes before the hot water came up. I wasted my time waiting for it before another staff member (I think he was the night manager)9 later advised that due to the lack of sunlight, there would be no hot water. The night manager lent me a little burner to heat the water up in a bucket. It would be good if staff could just be honest/frank and provide guests with correct information about the state of the accommodation. - The towel provided was more like a tablecloth!
The hotel is conveniently located not far from the train station. Those with difficulties walking up and down the staircase will find its swanky elevator handy. An ultra simple breakfast (2 pieces of toast, a wedge of butter, some jam, and masala chai) comes with the accommodation booking, but I guess one has to somehow notify reception before breakfast can be brought down to the room. The crisp white sheets and pillowcases are very clean, making up for the multitude of dirt marks and stains on the walls.

It’s a lovely family run hotel. We were made to feel really at home. Jaipur is a pretty stressful city to navigate and they made us feel so welcome and part of the family. They provided us with coffee and tea at no extra charge. Let us share their rooftop, booked us taxis to the airport and even invited us to share dinner. My husband got stuck in Jaipur for an extra night as his flight was cancelled. The owner helped him to get a taxi at 2am in the morning, so he could catch his new flight. Everyone was just so kind! We can’t praise them enough!
