For the price, I really had no complaints. The flush was a bit hard to use and the place has a bit of a smell. I have allergic rhinitis and am sensitive to smells - even so it did not affect me.

Perfect location, clean rooms, decent beds, powerful A/C, and friendly, helpful staff / owners. I had a positive experience overall.

The rooms are tiny but properly equipped. The one thing missing, though, is a coat rack or a coat stand, as there is no wardrobe, and no space for one.

Good location and very friendly staff. Apollo is a place where a woman travelling on her own can feel absolutely safe and comfortable. Thanks again to the whole team.

It’s a little bit tricky to find the entry at first.

This hotel is next door to the Leopoldo Cafe & within easy walking distance of the Gate of India. It is surrounded by many cafes & sidewalk markets & shops. Access is through a shoe shop & up a flight of stairs. Good shower you just have to wait 5 minutes for the warm water to flow through. The room was very clean & comfortable & quiet for such a busy area. Staff are very helpful. I would stay here again.

All was great but would suggest to upgrade towels - although they were clean, they seem to be overused now. Also please look into the water pressure in the sink of our room - it was quite low.

Good sized room suitable for two people and enough room for your luggage and to be able to move in the room comfortably. Friendly staff. A small guest house with only a few rooms all on one floor. Very clean which is top criteria for me when booking a place! Thanks team!

If you have a room on the 1st floor opposite the kitchen, then be prepared for the wafts of cooking smells (ok normally, but not in your hotel bedroom!) Weren’t able to pay by card when we were there. Don’t expect any of your usual personal touches or wonderful welcome you get from homestay or guest house hosts in other tourist destinations in India!

Great location in the heart of Colaba district (although a little hidden amongst market crowds if you arrive during the daytime). Comfortable room and well sized bathroom. Fridge for water bottles very useful. Not too noisy as room on side of hotel. Plenty of tuk tuks outside if you want to travel to other places in Mumbai, or only a 15 mins walk to Churchgate station. CSMT station a 100-150 rupees tuk tuk ride or 25 mins walk.

The room was located at the front of the building, and even with double glazing, was very noisy, as the road is busy and has busses and cars until late at night. probably would have been better with one of the other rooms on the side of the building.

The location is good, centrally located, easy to get around on foot and see the sites of that part of Mumbai. The room was clean and comfortable.

In a city like Mumbai it's difficult to imagine an inexpensive hotel to be good, but this one was beyond our expectations. We arrived in Mumbai by a night train and came to this hotel at 7:00 a.m. We were greeted like a family by an entire staff, and were immediately brought to the room, even though it was nowhere close to the check-in time. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of this hotel just couldn't be better, only a three-four minute walk to the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and to the Gateway of India. Prior to going to Mumbai, we saw the comments where people said that rooms facing the street were very noisy. As a result, we asked for a quiet room with the windows facing the wall of another building. It was indeed very quiet, but the next morning we went to the room facing the street where guests were already checked out. I have to admit that it did not feel very noisy to me. We were leaving Mumbai late at night, and we were allowed not only to leave our backpacks till the evening but even to take a shower before we left We really enjoyed staying at this guest house and the warm welcome that we received from the staff. We even asked their names so we could thank them here. Thank you, Ram, Bishnu, Mitra and Mani, as well as the warm and kind owner and his son.
