Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI liked everything, just a couple of tweaks required. - a spoon for making chai or coffee. - safety sticker on door leading into bathroom ( I walked into the clear glass) - a softer, thicker mattress. - tea/coffee) sugar to be replenished fully each day.
Beautiful rooms, stunning views, luxury items present. Breakfast first class. Staff excellent.i honestly couldn't fault this place. When it asked about things I didn't like, these are just suggestions to support the owners grow their fantastic home and business.

United KingdomNot a criticism but the hotel is quite remote so you probably need a driver.
Beautiful guesthouse in a peaceful location outside of Jaipur. The place has been done up really well; Vivek has clearly taken great care to make sure every detail has been thought through and that guests feel comfortable. We loved our spacious room and huge bath. Staff are incredibly attentive and made us a delicious dinner the night we arrived. Breakfast was also lovely.

United StatesThis homestay hotel was one of the best experiences of our trip to India. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome made us feel right at home. The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, setting the perfect tone for a relaxing stay. The staff were wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The smell of homemade food drifting through the house added such a cozy, familiar touch, and breakfast was absolutely delicious (they also offer homemade lunch and dinner, but we didn’t get to try it) The location, just outside Jaipur, was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. While getting an Uber was sometimes a bit tricky, the quiet surroundings and fresh air made it completely worth it. If you’re looking for a stay that feels like home, with great food and a serene atmosphere, this is the place to be!

United KingdomThe main reason for the low review Celebrating Holi was a big part of us coming to India and has been a well anticipated moment for us. We had made friends with a family over a few days who lived very close to the hotel they invited us to celebrate Holi and take part in dances with them, their family and children, something we were very excited about. On the day of Holi, we were greeted by the children as soon as we stepped out of the hotel gates, and they asked us if they could put some coloured powder on us, I made sure that we were clear of the hotel however, within a few minutes the manager and owners came out of the hotel and started pointing at us and at the powder and speaking very loud in Hindi it was extremely obvious they was not happy with us. They started saying to us that they wanted to clean our room and that they needed access now, then after talking in Hindi again, said that we must use a hose pipe that’s outside the front of the hotel in front of everyone, bearing in mind my daughter was wearing a white t-shirt of course I refused and told them don’t worry we will clean up after ourselves after celebrating but they continued to moan until we agreed to go inside and take a shower, at this point we had been outside for less than 5 minutes. We apologised to the family and explained that the hotel was not happy we were celebrating Holi and that we wouldn’t be joining them for dancing or any more celebrations. On the way into the hotel, the owner then started talking down to us like children about not getting any colour on the bathtub and tell them as soon as we were done showering, so he could send up a cleaner to check and clean the room to make sure we didn’t put powder anywhere. We spent the rest of Holi in our room we could hear music and laughter while the whole of Jaipur celebrated we were inside, not wanting to cause any more animosity.
