We love the location of the property and the set up with an open lounge and kitchen on each floor plus a kitchen. Breakfast offers many options and the coffee is good. Meets all my need as a group traveller.

Tea and coffee options need to be topped up in the kitchen with some milk offering for guests on each floor. Two glasses should be placed in each room. A second luggage rack would be good as only one guest gets to use this. Lamps on either side of the bed is a must and should both be working.

Beautiful airy hotel - more like a private house - with lovely rooms and sitting-room, pool and restaurant areas. Also readily walkable to other places to eat and easy access into central Colombo

Safe and Quiet

Breakfast in Rush hour might take 45mins to be served... (happened to us).

It was good location for my needs.

It was overpriced. Breakfast service was unacceptabley slow. There were only 3 people that needed to be served and each one looking immediately at the kitchen area to see when their food would be served. -The fans or the A/C was never left on by the management, so when you returned from the sweltering heat in mid July, you had to turn everything on in your room as well as the communal area and wait, which was very unfair. In my opinion, at least a couple of fans should be left on in the communal areas, especially for the price that is charged. -TV only has very basic channels. -The taxi arranged by the hotel to the airport is 1200rupees, whereas Uber only charged 380rupees and it was so easy to pre-book.

It is good value for the price. Also, it is very pretty, simple with good taste. The shared areas are nice too. The kitchen is useful to cook and keep your food or wash and iron your clothes. It feels like home, whether if you are staying for a short or longer stay. Shame the weather was too hot, the terrace is great.

I was not sure when they cleaned the room, but the stuff is really nice. There was someone a couple of days monopolising the washing machine and drying area, as well as the fridge (his stuff was spread all over the shelves). Sharing spaces can sometimes be tricky. It would be good to keep women travelling alone on the same floor, as it is more comfortable for us to share spaces with other women. The breakfast is alright, but it can improve.

Spacious and clean Lovely helpful staff

The property exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff courteous. The breakfast is fresh and the options adequate. There is a wide assortment of books and magazines that one can read in the common areas. I would love to stay here again.

In a neighborhood. Can be good (quiet) Bad (a walk to get any food etc). Was Monsoon season so seemed gloomy with all the other tall houses around.

Very clean and lovely apartment style hotel. We nice to have access to kitchen and washing machine. Breakfast was also lovely!

As I am a solo female traveler, would request the host to put a safety latch in the rooms. Makes us feel safer.

Bungalow 99 is very well maintained- tasty designed, clean and comfortable. Peaceful and relaxing place, ideal after hectic day in New Delhi. The staff is professional and very helpful.

Loved every moment. We stayed again for a night before leaving India. Would definitely stay again. It’s peaceful and calming in a rather chaotic city of Delhi!

Nothing comes to mind

The place was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful. ubers and rickshaw are easily available. the place is nice and comfortable little remote but a place worth staying.
