Most of all we like the owner Mr.Poonacha uncle who was very kind and humble providing all the info about best restaurants and sight seeing in coorg..he assisted us 24/7..he was available all the time when needed..over all the homestay was calm and peaceful for affordable price..it was budget friendly and good for 4 members...

The overall stay was really good, the owner helps us with needed kitchen utensils, umbrella (it was in July and It rain cats and dogs throughout the day and night) and with cab booking for local sightseeing, it was a great gesture by the owner, would recommend families to stay at this property.

We stayed at Hidden Gem Homestay during our recent family trip to Coorg, and it truly lived up to its name! The place was spotless, well-maintained, and offered all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hospitality was exceptional — the host, Mr. MK Poonacha was warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. The location is perfect — peaceful and scenic, yet just a few kilometers away from all the major attractions. What added an extra special touch to our stay were the three friendly stray dogs on the property. They were so affectionate and protective, giving us Z+ level security! We grew so fond of them that I honestly wished I could take them home. I stayed here with my friends for a night, experience was extremely amazing, it was like home away from home.Mr poonacha uncle was soo kind and generous , he was always available and guided us really well, rooms were nice as shown in the pictures and had a very nice view .I would highly recommend this. I found it quite funny that instead of a lighter in the kitchen, matchbox is preferred though there is so much of moisture in the air itself And the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan which I m not used to at all. But since its size is big , it was manageable for a short stay.

Property is owned by a well established family. The road is private neighbours are peaceful. It is safe and it is completely private -, both the rooms, Balcony and the drawing-room, kitchen. The owner is himself helpful and gives the right advice for people like us who are coming for the first time. It saves lot of trouble and wastage of time and effort of course.

It was a really excellent experience.. The host Mr. Poonacha is very kind , humble n friendly. He helped us with lots of information . He shared all visiting places in Coorg, restaurants, so that we can get ideas.The stay was neat n clean.. facilities are provided like gas stove , cooking vessels, plates, 24/7 hot water, tissues, hand wash. It felt like we were staying at our own home. The home stay is very budget friendly. The place is calm n peaceful. Would definitely recommend.
