Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

I had such a great experience staying at Jaisal Castle Home Stay in Jaipur. From the start, everything felt comfortable and welcoming. What really made my stay special was the host, Sanjay. He’s so warm and friendly – he helped me plan out my travel itinerary, which made exploring Jaipur so much easier and more fun. The highlight was when he took me out for a delicious local breakfast, something I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. It was a wonderful, personal touch that made me feel like more than just a guest. Overall, I truly felt at home. The hospitality, comfort, and great value for money make this place a clear recommendation for anyone visiting Jaipur. I’d happily stay here again!

We stayed here while my wife was preparing for heart surgery at a nearby hospital, and we couldn't have asked for a more comforting experience. Kamini and Sanjay are truly the kindest hosts you’ll ever meet! They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood with everything you might need just a short walk away. It’s also conveniently close to Jaipur city centre, making it a great base for exploring the sights while retreating to calm surroundings after a busy day. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jaipur.

SwitzerlandWe received a very warm welcome on arrival by the owners of the homestay. They helped us to our room. Ours was on the first floor with an access to communal area. It was spacious and confortable with a lot of nice detail. We loved the bay window. The area is very quiet and we slept very well. I can’t stress enough how lovely and nice the owners are. They are such a nice people. They are a definition of a hospitality. Thank you very much :) It’s a shame that we couldn’t spent more time together. Maybe next time.

We loved the hosts who felt like family and the bedroom was absolutely gorgeous and very well designed . There was a homely feeling here and lots of shops and small cafes near by so very convenient.

Germany--
Our stay here was great. Mr. Sanjay, our host was very accommodating and thoughtful. The room was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated with a lovely havali-style window nook full of pillows where you could read. There was a separate entrance to our room for ease and privacy. As well as a common space for guests with sofas and a small kitchenette. Homemade breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The area, although outside of the center was not too far a drive from the airport and was quiet yet has plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. A great choice if you prefer to stay outside of the noisy center of Jaipur.

IndiaSomewhat stressful pressure for prepayment.
The rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was fresh and delicious (poha and parantha). There was a separate entrance to access the rooms so we didn't feel in the way of family life. Located within easy reach of the airport.

IndiaIt was a wonderful stay at Jaisal Castle, before coming to Jaipur with my spouse and children was concerned about their safety and comfort. But after meeting with our host Mr. Sanjay and Kamini madam we all were relaxed and feel it like at home. Area is very peaceful, ventilated spacious rooms, bathroom were cleaned and interior was amazing. Breakfast quality was good. They asked my spouse and children to use their personal lift. A lot of parking space available, when I was concerned about safety of my vehicle and luggage on reaching there he assured me about its safety and asked me to park inside the safe locked in area. Mr Sanjay also briefs us about tourist and food places. One day after coming back at 10.30 P.M when we called our host for some help, he came at once and sorted out the issue. I would definitely recommend to all wanting a homely stay in Jaipur.

United KingdomSanjay and Kamini were exceptional hosts. Unfortunately we were unwell when we got to Jaisel Castle Homestay but we were so well looked after and accommodated for. They made sure that we had all the foods and medicines we needed and went out their way to make us comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would thoroughly recommend to someone wanting a homely stay in Jaipur.

Nice quiet area and great hosts The room is very big, clean and well decorated. It has desk, kettle, and even mirror in the WC (not that common in India) Little details like water , tea or amenities were there too. Would definetely recommend Ps: there is a local restaurant in the main road with all menu in hindi but food is really good . It’s called Shree Shyam Bhojanalaya

IndiaTo be honest, nothing felt disliked.
Property is just about near to both Airport and the hustling part of the city. I would definitely like to come back and sleep in a quieter place than the buzzing city streets. And to talk about the property owner Mr Sanjay Shukla - welcomed us more as a friend to his house, being a traveller himself, runs the stay passionately. Rooms are well maintained. Travelled for nearly 18 days in Rajasthan and this was our Top 1 among them all.

PhilippinesBeautiful exterior with homey interiors. This was one of our favorite places to stay during our 10 days exploring India's golden triangle. Everything was accurate in the description. It is located in a quiet residential area but easily accessible by grab 15-20mins from the Old Town attractions. But what makes this place the best is the warm and friendly host. Mr. Sanjay was such a professional and was gracious in preparing food for us and giving us tips about the best places to eat, shop and explore during our stay. We really enjoyed sharing stories with him and meeting his lovely family. We highly recommend Jasial Castle.
