Stay at Kalka Royal, Katra was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was very comfortable, and conveniently located, making it the perfect place to start and end the pilgrimage. The staff in particular Mr Ajith and Mr Kakaram was warm and welcoming. The family room was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities. I truly appreciate the exceptional hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Vaishnodevi.

The hotel was right in front of the Railway station so we just walked to the hotel. The staff was really nice. They provided us alternative room to meet our need for extra bed which was really nice. Beds were comfortable, hot water was available all the time and room service was also on time as we also ate food at hotel and the food quality was great! The hotel staff also helped us with booking commute for our darshan day and trip to Srinagar.

I had come from 🇺🇸 to pay homage to Mata Vashino Devi. I was very impressed with the service given by Kakaram,he was very courteous and ensured the need and made sure the food was served the way I wanted . He was really good at restaurant service . Happy and impressed by his work.

Breakfast was quite average with just 2-3 options (plus fruits, canned juice, tea/coffee etc). This is the least option I have seen in any property, so far. There was no live counter which was a big disappointment. For any extra dish (beyond the available options), guest were charged. The restaurant was very small with space for hardly 20 guest at one time. Entire restaurant was managed by just 2 staff members, affecting the service, cleanliness etc.

The Family Room was great. Very comfortable and spacious with 2 bathrooms, which was a pleasant surprise. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, it was just fantastic! The staff at this hotel were very courteous and helpful. They made our stay very comfortable. Food was good, considering all the preparations were without ginger and garlic. Room service was excellent.

- Tap leakage in basin. - Cleanliness in rooms (some flies/ insects) were observed.

- We didn't have time for breakfast. - Location is excellent! - Reception staff helped us in a difficult situation that our VB ex had delayed by 11-12 hrs. We were sure to have missed onward train at Delhi. We could somehow manage flight booking (Jammu- Delhi) & they arranged taxi drop off for us upto Jammu airport.

The room was dirty , bottle caps were lying around. There were spiders in my room walking around. The bathroom was stinky and taps kept making weird squeaky noise thru the night. My room was not cleaned even after i asked them to clean it. The bedsheets were not clean.

Loved the stay, great value for money. The main selling point being the close proximity of the property to the railway station, as it's just opposite the railway station on the main road,me and family comfortably walked from the railway station. Also a beautiful dry fruit shop inside hotel so no need to go outside prices are really genuine
