This hotel was so relaxing, there were not many guests as it was monsoon season. we had the best time relaxing by the pool, the food was incredible some of the best we’ve had on our two week trip! Jasmine was an amazing host, helping us organise transport to our next hotel and a boat tour in alleppey. She also organised when we wanted breakfast and dinner and it was always on time and delicious. The rest of the staff were also very helpful and friendly we felt very looked after.

We will remember our 2 days at Marari Beach Bungalow for a long time! The welcome was fantastic, we were pampered by an extremely caring and professional team! The food prepared to order, the breakfast, the pool service, we feel welcomed like prestigious guests! The house is tastefully decorated, very clean, every little detail counts and gives a feeling of accomplished work sometimes rare to find in India. The tropical garden is very well maintained, it forms a lush setting around a very beautiful swimming pool! Bravo to the whole team!

I had a wonderful experience at the Marari Beach Bungalow. It was peaceful relaxing and perfect for unwinding. Beach is a 5 min walk from the bungalow, uncrowded and easily accessible . Highly recommended!!

This beautiful hotel with 9 rooms is fabulous. We stayed 3 nights all the staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi and scooter hire. Wonderful breakfast freshly made. We had dinner here too. They what’s app the menu for you to select from and choose a time to eat. Spacious room with great air con and balcony where you can relax and listen to the sounds of nature. Great pool area too. They are building a spa soon which will be a lovely addition.

Relaxing place for a perfect holiday. With wonderful ambience and a peaceful sleep. I have travelled extensively through India and I can say this as the best place I stayed. The beach is about 6 minutes walk from the resort but their beautiful pool made me stay and enjoy it the whole day. I experienced the rich and authentic Kerala delicacy which they offered . The house is beautiful and an oasis of peace in the busy Kerala countryside. The staff is great and you can see it’s a good place to work! The chef is super and we ate there every night. We had a lot of help from the staff to arrange things to do so everything went very smoothly.

The vibe of the place was serene and soothing. The staff (Jasmine and Neha) were extremely helpful and friendly. The greenery is marvelous and the food flavourful yet light on the stomach. the room was immaculate and we slept super well. Overall, a 10/10 experience!!

Beautiful grounds, huge rooms, strong AC, big balconies, comfortable beds, tea/coffee/fridge in the room. Quiet. Fresh fruit in the room every day. Super friendly and very accommodating staff. Nice warm swimming pool. Good full breakfast, eggs any style on demand. Drinking water is available around the property. Overall, highly recommend

At least 8 minute walk to the beach and pretty far from Cochi. You have to have something to sit on when you go to the beach. And get towels before you go. That’s the only issue we noticed.

Excellent breakfast, good choice of both Indian and continental dishes. We tried both over our stay. Both tasted amazing. In fact we ate all our meals at the property.

Spa is missing at the facility. They are building it though and should have it ready in a few months.

We really enjoyed our stay here! + Staff were fantastic, really easy to contact them via WhatsApp, very responsive, friendly and attentive + The room we stayed in was extremely clean and a great size + Food was reasonably priced, tasty and big portions + The resort itself has a very unique look and was well kept + Provided a complimentary breakfast before our early morning transfer to the airport (THANK YOU SO MUCH)

Nothing we didn't like but perhaps what would have made our stay even better! + On the first night our A/C stopped working but was moved to another room within minutes + The resort itself is a 20+ minute taxi to the centre and not too much around it in terms of restaurants + The pool could use cleaning a couple of times more, very clean in the morning once first cleaned but

Really everything - the staff was so kind and welcoming, my room was very nice and clean, I enjoyed the pool area, dinner & breakfast were tasty, and they organized a really nice backwaters cruise (in a small boat that could go up some of the smaller canals). I definitely recommend this property.

The room was extremely spacious, very clean and comfortable. The garden was peaceful and beautifully planted and the pool was enormous with beds under the trees. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful. Although it was one of the more expensive places we stayed in India so far, we felt it was worth the money.

Air-conditioning was making load noise, the location is not on the beach, but close to the main street (8-10 minutes walk from the beach).

Excellent service, ambience, and food. An extremely rejuvenating, peaceful, and pleasant stay. Lots of trees, plants, and greenery, and close to the beach. An authentic Kerala cultural experience. The employees are very friendly and courteous. Great service by Jasmine and team. Yummy authentic kerala food.

The property is beautiful - lovely furnishings, spacious garden and great pool. Our room was lovely too. The food was really excellent! Delicious breakfasts and the three dinners we had there were outstanding. The staff are all charming - friendly, helpful and a credit to the hotel. Couldn’t be better!

Nothing. It’s very quiet and peaceful and not that close to lots of restaurants or shops, so don’t expect that. But it was easy to get a tuk-tuk to nearby places like Alleppey and it’s only a short walk to the beautiful Marari beach (but too hot for us to spend much time there).

This hotel is set in a really beautiful old building that is full of character. Loved the decor, furnishings and the beautiful antiques dotted throughout. The staff were fantastic, really warm and welcoming and always really helpful and responsive during our stay. Location was good, set just off the main road and only a short walk to the beach. The pool area was lovely. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The food quality at both breakfast and dinner was very good.

Issues with the hot water - most of the time our shower was lukewarm at best (apparently it is solar heated). We were woken very early each morning by a local temple blasting out prayers through a loudspeaker. The hotel staff told us this was due to a festival and not how it normally is, so hopefully that’s true and we were just unlucky with our timing. No licensed bar or proper on site restaurant (apparently both are coming next year). You had to pre-order dinner ahead of time, and breakfast was a fixed menu (although very good). Limited food options in the surrounding location.
