Host was awesome! So kind, helpful, and was the best place we stayed in India even though it wasn’t super fancy it had everything you needed and at a very good price. Max guest house also offer food and water and a very good price!! The host couldn’t have done more for us and provides help on trips of locals activities and where is safe to eat locally. 100% recommend

Not walking distance from Taj but easy to get to via car or tuk tuk!

Max is a very nice host. We had two nice days with him. The room is also clean and good. We would definitely come back!

Sometimes it is a little bit loud outside. But this depends probably on the Location of the Room.

Max is a phenomenal host, he gives great advice on what to see, where to eat and how to avoid scams. His property is well maintained, clean and has a very good vibe. The location was close to all the attractions I wanted to see. I’d definitely return here for my next stay in Agra! Thank you Max for making my stay memorable.

Close to Taj Mahl 1km Cheap water

Max was a great host and very accommodating. We arrived earlier than expected. He quickly got the room ready for us, and had no qualms updating our room at short notice. Because we didn't overnight there, but just needed a few hours to leave our luggage while we visited the Taj Mahal, he did not charge us a full day fee. That was very great-warming😊

The only review you need to read. Max Guest House is truly outstanding. Shah is an extremely polite host and his father and uncles are true gentlemen. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was completely comfortable. The cleanliness was at the level you would expect in a five star hotel. From the corridors to the rooms, the washrooms and even the blankets, everything was spotless. I have stayed at the Taj before and I can honestly say the standard of cleanliness here was on the same level.

The location is great, you can walk to Taj Mahal or take 5minute taxi. Room was very clean, all equipmnet provided. Internet connection was strong. You can take advantage of the terrace where dinner and lunch can be served. Breakfest was also included. Max was very helpful throughout the process. He can speak very good english and can help you with taxi, bus etc. We have enjoyed our stay and recommend!

I had a very pleasant stay. The room, bathroom, sheets, and towels were very clean. The bed was comfortable and Max, the host, was extremely welcoming and helpful, which made the trip much easier. The location is well situated in a quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes by rickshaw from the main sights in Agra. I highly recommend this place!

We had a great time at Max Guest House. We really appreciated the speediness of Max's responses. He gave us excellent tips on transportation, where to eat and what to do in Agra. Max is an excellent person. He helps you a lot, with all you need. The room is clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect. Moreover, he recommend us good placed to eat and the best ways to move from one place to another.

The highlight of this place is its owner…he is so helpful and is always available . I was really skeptical at first. I had heard many stories of people getting cheated in Agra. But thanks to the advices given to me by max , my stay in Agra was quite memorable. Rooms are neat and clean and well maintained .Location is also great. If ever I return to Agra, I would have no doubt as to where to stay. Thank you very much.

Max stayed with us in touch before arrival, during our stay and even after departure, helping us and giving advise.

Wifi signal is weak in the rooms, but at the terrace and seats in hallway it is strong

Staying at Max Guesthouse was great. I crushed in quite late last night but the owner was still waiting for me and he took his time to show me around and to explain everything to me. He also helped me to organise my trip to the Taj Mahal. His advice was very useful. I felt very comfortable and welcomed at his place. Everything was good - I cannot think of anything else. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Mosquitos 😭 lol. But people there were amazing. So not a big deal. Will always choose them whenever I'll visit agra. Family friendly ❤️
