How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Verified reviewThe property is near Tala gate and Tala market. The rooms are clean and spacious enough for two people. The hotel staff are well-behaved and helpful.
The property is located next to a cow-shed. One can always get smell of cattle from the entrance of the property. Washroom needs to be improved. An exhaust fan and better toiletries should be provided.

Verified reviewThe staff was very polite and helpful. Service was fast and we were very well catered to through out our stay. Our room was very spacious and clean with a front lawn that was an added bonus. The location of the hotel is very convenient as well as it is walking distance to the main gate of the National Park. Plenty of stores nearby. Overall our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely recommend Hotel Jungle Palace to any future travelers to Bandhavgarh.

The room was cold and difficult to warm up, the tiled floor missed any carpet or rug, maybe in summer feels better. Wifi Signal was weak as web we're in the farest room Hoy water tank was really small and It wasn't enough for 2

He organiced my pick up to Jabalpur airport, he helped me to buy safary tickets in the office, he bought my train ticket to varanasi, is a good man and owner too. Verified reviewI thought this hotel with its big room, hot water, some of the best food that I’ve eaten during all my travels in a India, cleanliness and centrally located in Tala (but set back from the main road so was quiet) was fantastic. But the thing that made it particularly great was the charm and warmth and friendliness of the staff and the hotel owner Mr.Saurabh. Highly recommended.
