There were plenty of options to eat nearby and it was easy to get an Uber from this location. The room and bathroom were spacious. We really liked all the people who worked there; they were so friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with the breakfasts, which varied every day, as they were very substantial. We would recommend this accommodation. Also, the guesthouse is better than the photos suggest.

Negatives: The floor was very dusty when we arrived, making our clothes and feet dirty. But did get cleaned properly when requested. Slow response when we asked for extra items (sheets, spoons, and a kettle). And staff seemed slightly confused at our requests. Limited flexibility—we asked for extra pillows and toilet roll but didn’t get everything we requested. They seemed a bit too concerned when we used spoons and glasses. And I accidentally broke one small drinking glass and they asked for 100 rupees for damages which seemed quite high. Overall, a good stay and we would stay here again, but it would be even better with a little more attention to cleanliness and guest requests.

Positives: Great value for money with breakfast included. Convenient location, not far from the airport. And not in a very busy part of Kolkata Comfortable stay with hot showers and tasty breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Biswanjit, who made us feel welcome.

The staff was really kind with us...Mr Asit and Ms Krishna were wonderful hosts preparing amazing breakfasts for us! I loved that, also if as foreigners we asked for a continental breakfast, every morning they added a different little Indian sweet to our meal...it was a nice surprise! And thank you to Babai...it was really nice to spend some time chatting with you! The place is cozy and has all what we needed...and the kindness of its workers is at the top of the list!

The lobby is small and rooms enterance door is congested. The room that they allotted us frist night has problem with AC, however, they shifted us next day to another room.

It is a small villa hotels comprisibg only 8 rooms. I Like the cleanliness, the bed tea, the location, the service and staff's behaviour. The Beds are comfortable with clean linen. Wifi is strong. Rooms have mini fridge and flat TV. There are couple of fine dining restaurants nearby. You can stepdown to dine out, order oline or throuh the reception. The ATM booth is just in the gr. Flr of the same building. The Local breakfast menu the gave us was not good, we asked for continental (bread, butter, Omllet, rosgolla, banana and tea), that was better. We will stay here again when visiting Kolkata.
