Pool was a bit chilly but at least there is a pool. We had a swim anyway!

Serene, picturesque location amidst the western ghats. Beautiful in the morning surrounding by clouds below us. Good Food and great hospitality from Jibi and Sajith. The villa has 2 rooms with 2 separate baths and a common living room. Ample Parking Space.

Food to be ordered in advance since the serving staff are limitied. The caretaker informed us that the shortage of staff is temporary.

The Location is exceptionally isolated . Backyard has beautiful view of Idukki. Can see beautiful sunset from your backyard.

I had booked the property on booking.com, but when I arrived, they refused to give me the room unless I paid more. I showed them my booking receipt, but they just argued and said they wouldn't give me a room. They told me to go and complain to whoever I wanted. As a guest who had traveled a long distance, I had a terrible experience with the property management. They treated me extremely poorly and had no manners when talking to me. In the end, I had to suffer and ruin my trip because of their issues, and I had to scramble to find another place to stay. Be careful and avoid booking this property if you want to enjoy your trip.

The room was not only clean, but also incredibly comfortable, allowing me to relax and unwind in style. But what truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service provided by Joel and the cooking master. Their attentiveness and dedication to ensuring a wonderful stay were truly commendable.

Everything was exceptional. The whole family Ashwin, Joel were excellent hosts.. Joel was cheerful and helped a lot in making my daughter's birthday celebration memorable. Room were clean, Joel and Ashwin met us as soon as we reached, food was good, tasty. Location was breathtaking. Stay was comfortable and gave us the much needed break from hustle bustle of city life. The location was superb.. as name suggests God's Own Country and in the city, peekavu cottage was away from city yet connected. Serene, calms you instantly.

The place is incredible, the views are beautiful and the surroundings are very relaxing. Felt like heaven. The owner was incredibly helpful. The little house was spacious and very comfortable, very nicely decorated.

A bit difficult to reach as the property is in a remote corner and the road was absolutely worst. There's no formal front office kind of facility, it's better to call them in advance if you are dropping in super late; I mean you don't have to wake up the boy. Besides a single towel, there's not much toiletries available.

The rooms are good. The toilets were clean. The bed was comfortable. The view outside is great. Prompt communication.

The best view ever! Nothing beats the beauty of this place. Once you are at the cottage, you wouldn't wanna leave and go anywhere! Very helpful staff. Definitely a must visit!
