Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The stay house was truly beyond my expectations! The property itself was stunning — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. But what made the experience unforgettable was Bony, the host. His hospitality was absolutely mind-blowing. The way he engaged with guests, making everyone feel at home, was something I’ve rarely experienced. Words can’t do justice to how amazing both the property and the host were. Highly recommended!

IndiaWe initially planned to stay for one day but ended up extending it for another day because we loved it so much. The place is calm, clean, and surrounded by nature. Bony, the caretaker, was extremely helpful. He guided us on a trek to Chokramudi Peak and took us in his jeep to explore some hidden gems around Munnar. A truly memorable and relaxing experience!

IrelandThere was nothing I didn't like, everything was amazing!
For me, everything was perfect! The room is big and comfortable, I had the best sleep here in my whole 5 weeks of travel around Kerala. Bony is an amazing host, going above and beyond for his guests and always with a beautiful smile on his friendly face. He answered all my questions and even made some suggestions which made my trip even better. I had a delicious traditional breakfast served each morning and was brought to the bus stop by Bony on the morning of my departure. The farm is breathtakingly beautiful and it is impossible not to feel good staying there and waking up to the sunrising over the mountain in the morning. I would recommend anyone to stay here to experience all that beauty and fabulous hospitality :)))

United KingdomThe location was amazing, and the scenery was beautiful, overlooking the valleys and mountains. Traditional breakfast was great, including fruit, tea, coffee, and Keralan cuisine. But the best part was the brilliant host Bony, who was kind, funny, and helpful. He was an excellent tour guide, taking us to waterfalls, swimming, elephant spotting, spice gardens, sunset viewpoints, and local restaurants with recommendations! We really enjoyed chatting with him in his jeep and sharing stories about life in the UK and India and our mutual love for travel. Thank you, Bony! We wish we could've stayed longer.

Hidden in a full nature, we enjoyed a lot our stay at the Bony’s home. He’s an humble, generous and caring host and it truly makes the difference. He also organized us the greatest day in Munnar from the sunrise to the sunset. The room is nice and comfortable so what else?

FranceThe host is super friendly and helpful, the location is unique and wonderful. You are staying in a cabin surrounded by many plants. You just need to know that the access is only possible through a very steep path for which you need to rely on the transport by jeep provided by the host.

FranceBony is very friendly and nice. His place is perfect for travelers without a car, as Bony offers jeep tours to many places (tea plantation, waterfall, hanging bridge, dam, wild elephant valley). We really recommend them as the price is fair. The homestay is very pleasant, inside nature. Breakfast is home-made and full filing. We had a very good time!

United KingdomAs long as you don’t mind joining in with Bony’s activities (and accepting the very reasonable prices of these), then there is nothing not to like!
We loved staying at Bony’s place! Reached by tuk tuk from Anachal, once you’ve gone up the steep drive in Bony’s Jeep (which is an exciting experience in itself!) you arrive in an oasis of rural quiet, and things just keep getting better! There are just two rooms and you can share your activities with your fellow tourists (the activities are chosen from a menu with stated prices). You are dependent on Bony to take you out for day trips and walks in the Jeep, but for us that was no bad thing at all, because he was great company and we got on well with the other people staying there. Bony took us each night to a different local restaurant for dinner (all reasonably priced and tasty), and one night brought back food for us to eat at the Farm Stay on the veranda. Breakfast was always tasty and came with fresh fruit, often from the garden! In short, if you’re looking for a few days of rural tranquility with access to fun activities in and around the Munnar district, then this place is PERFECT! We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely come back if we get the chance.

FranceNothing Not suitable for people with mobility problems as there are steps and slopes. Property is up an extremely steep drive only suitable for for jeeps so Bony will collect you from your taxi. We found it fun going up and done in the jeep.
The scenery is fantastic, and Bony shows you all the fruits and spices growing around you. Bony is very friendly and helpful and takes you to wherever you want to go. Delicious Indian breakfasts. You can have a campfire at request or go for a massage or restaurant or a tour.
