Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The position wasn’t the best, quite far from the center and positioned on a very awkward highway. Nothing could be done walking distance nor even an ATM. The room was never cleaned during my stay and the bed never done. I had to ask them to remove the dirty plates of the dinner I ordered as the first day they didn’t. I found this a bit strange for a 4 star hotel.
The staff was nice and helpful whenever I needed help. The Indian food was generally speaking good for both breakfast and dinner (less so the western options in the breakfast). Internet was decent even though not the fastest and the shower had good temperature and pressure.

Too far from Kashi Viswanath Temple and all auto do not know how to reach here. Once it took us 3 hours from Temple to reach back the hotel. Although it is clean but the effort to reach to the hotel is not worth it.

Location is a bit isolated and if takes more than 40 minutes to get to the old town

What didn't go well is (1) The location of the hotel is a bit off, so for e.g. there are no provision store nearby and (2) some items in the room were not working as expected (for e.g. money safe and toilet flush switch).
I found this hotel through aggregator websites. Selected this hotel for a great price. The hotel is equipped with convenience, staff is very helpful, rooms are comfortable , restaurant food is excellent, parking facilities are available on the spot, cloak room facility was provided to me and it was great.

Distance from the city center and Kashi Vishwanath Temple is quite far. Not a feasible option if one is frequently making visits to Kashi area.
All aspects are good ... staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms are good, comfortable, and clean.

quite far away from the city centre i did not understand why i had to pay at check out 10% extra tax when it was written on booking that all charges and tax were inclueded- no receipt obviously

There is no one to clean the car even on paid basis Hotel staff shud arrange someone for people travelling by road.
Rooms were very clean n spacious n nice hospitality.. they offered us a early check-in based on availability.

We enjoyed our brief stay at the hotel as our domestic flight was cancelled and we had to stay one additional night in Varanasi. The staff was very kind. The premises are clean and comfortable. The restaurant offers basic but reasonable options for dinner and breakfast. The building hosts several businesses and can be quite busy. The rooftop lounge and swimming pool are two examples. We also appreciated the shuttle service to the airport. Overall this is an option with great value for a casual stay in the fascinating city of Varanasi.

Any adjustments to the customer requirement not gets entertained. Little expensive...didn't give that much of experience with value for money
The location is very near to the main highway connecting budh gaya and Kanpur on other side.
